During a press conference with reporters on Tuesday, Lloyd was asked whether he took a certain satisfaction in making the Pro-Bowl after being written off by so many teams.

The veteran minced no words.

Rick Smith was the "defensive backfiled specialist" who pushed for Kareem Jackson, even if Kubiak had final say. There's no way it can work. Fans will be booing the second something goes wrong.

Players and assistant coaches know Kubiak is not long for the job. How will he hire any decent coaches? They don't want to move their families for a one year gig.

Vegas should have a prop bet on which week Wade Phillips takes over as interim HC.

I like that except Reed all the guys leading shit are not in the PO, shows once more that the only statistic that's relevant is the W/L one. And the PO this are horrible for me, only the Bears remain as team that I slightly give a fuck about, and that's only because of Cutler, Hester and Smith. And Al Bundy.

i think GB beats the Eagles and NO beats the Seahawks, but at the same time what are the chances of both road teams winning in the NFC. So i'm guessing the eagles and saints advance.

in the afc i think the Colts spank the Jets, and the Ravens beat up the Chiefs.

Arian Foster and Michael Vick were the tools that helped me win my fantasy league. I need to check because we have a keeper league and I got Foster in Round 8. If I can still keep him, that means I can draft him in Round 5. :D

Go Colts! Somehow Manning wills them to Foxboro for a classic showdown in the AFC Championship game? Yes? (I fucking hope so, I'm going to the game this weekend.)

I hope it's not true. Cable is not a good head coach on gameday, but there's finally been some stability in Oakland and I thought he had a great draft last year. They had 5 rookie starters that all played well and they brought in some FA talent that really made a difference. And, if nothing else, the guy really knows how to spot and build good offensive linemen.

If it's true that they're giving him the boot, it's probably because the players have all bought in and Al wants a stooge more than a head coach.

McDaniels brings nothing to the table unless they're letting Hue Jackson go. If that is the case, then McDaniels could probably do something with these shitty QBs, but our running game is probably fucked. If he goes to Oakland, Davis won't let him have anywhere near the amount of control he had in Denver, so he won't be able to do damage in that regard.

Honestly, I don't know why any coach would want to go to Oakland. No first round pick. Al Davis is your boss. Bunch of guys leaving for FA. I'd rather go be an OC somewhere for a year or two and bide my time 'till another position opens up.

All that said, I doubt it's true. :p The media has been wrong every fucking time one of these rumors comes up. They're batting 0 right now.

NO @ SEA - I'll be rooting for Seattle to go all the way, though. My dream matchup for this post season is Pit/Sea.

NYJ @ IND - Indy would have torn through the Ravens or Jets.

BAL @ KC - KC just got dominated by Raiders second stringers at home. So much for that stadium being supernatural!

GB @ PHI - The only thing making this pick difficult is that Rodgers is playing, but I think the defense can overcome that.

What can you do except accept it and hope for the best? I had visions of Cowher and Gruden, but McNair has a massive bromance going on with Gary.

I think Bum coming out and supporting Gary/trying to get his son a job had alot to do with it.
