Luongo doesn't play nearly as well cold. I can see a weak goal if Calgary can muster some offense.

I think that was the only back and forth of the entire game. Calgary's playing tighter than a virgin's daughter.

Unnecessary loss, should've wrapped things up earlier the way we played the last 25mins... And the OT penalties (esp the one against Daniel ) were odd oO Oh well, with all the OT games we're getting good playoffs practice!

Well we had one against the Ducks last night and it was amazing, really wish the NHL would do a 3 v 3 OT after the 4 v 4.

Despite all this talk, I have this feeling it won't be that busy same with the off season with all of these players probably just resigning with their current teams unfortunately. :/
 
I booked off February 27th specifically for the deadline coverage, even though I know it won't be as exciting as they pimp it out to be. At least I get a day off.

Might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure all lists like that are based on speculation. 2012 UFA/RFA + struggling team + not a guaranteed re-sign = trade bait, whether or not the team is known to be shopping him around.
 
Sad I wasn't able to post during the game. Eller burning Dion and Reimer was awesome. Glad to see some more goals from Patches and Cole.

Habs are probably going to end up between 12th & 9th and not make the playoffs and not have a high draft pick either, all I can hope for is that Gauthier is fired and they bring in someone from the outside AND NOT someone that's already within the organization.
 
Malkin vs. Stamkos in the battle of the league leaders today. Our last game against TB was a lot of fun, hopefully this one is too.

Let's go Pens! I despise the Bolts. Stamkos is carrying that team single-handedly. Should be considered for the Hart. I wonder how much of Tampa's offense he accounts for.
 
Wow. I almost forgot to tell you guys! (Good thing I remembered how terrible the Leafs played last night.)

Last night's Leaf Talk is worth listening to for the first caller. It's basically a radio show where Leaf fans call in to talk to Andy Frost (the arena announcer) about the game/Leafs/league. It's always an amusing show to listen to because of how delusional some people are. It's available on iTunes, search "Leaf Talk". The guy is really angry and distressed and apparently spent a lot of money to attend the game, it's a classic call.

Knuble is being scratched for a second game in a row. :( He hasn't had a good year but I hope he can contribute somehow to a playoff contending team if we trade him.
