The thread by Buddha-Jesus-God-I-Suck-At-Names guy?

Edit: Wait, that's this thread. Must have been the other one.
Haha, yeah.

Not yet, but if its going to be an attatchment it will probably eventually be in a new sku ala Wii Motion +

I wouldn't be surprised if it does, but the people who act as if it is a fact are idiots

Also I see no reason why releasing a new model XL size that contains the attachement would hurt people who bought an earlier version of the system. Developers can easily support two control methods.

If it wasn't called yet, I volunteer to do the Conference Thread.

Between that and Demon's Souls, I don't have a lot to do.

EDIT: Wrong thread and nevermind.

Unfortunately someone snuck in right before you.

However, there are still many threads available there, including some likely to have 3DS games.

When I said "bring on the crazy," I kinda didn't expect people to, like, bring on actual crazy.

I'll say it again, for the record: I repeated stuff that someone who has previously confirmed third party Japanese goings-on to me had heard himself. This guy is usually accurate, but you're only ever accurate until you're wrong. This didn't come from me and a chat with a Konami or Nintendo employee or anything that inside baseball.

I personally find it all believable, especially since the developers in question aren't working on anything that we know of right now and/or the games have been hinted or mentioned before.

That said, goddamn, IGN. Really? You didn't give me a job five years ago but you're using my posts for news now? Dicks!

Eh, they linked to the post, who gives a shit.

It's not as bad as that time some news aggregate site stole my Ouendan 2 tracklist translations without attributing me.

Can you say whether or not Iga or Mercury Steam is involved in the Castlevania rumor?

I don't know in the first place.

Though considering the fact it's a pre-TGS show in Japan, my inclination would not be Mercury Steam.

Doesn't sometime the information come from GAF? If the source IS GAF and is reliable, why should IGN prevent itself from reporting on it?

I haven't followed this thread at all so maybe I missed something, but why do you assume your source doesn't leak information to IGN as well?

Well, it´s pretty embarrassing for one of the biggest gaming sites to pick up rumors from some gaming board. Stuff like that is usually posted on some editor´s blog (like the James Reilly-stuff prior to the Wii U-reveal).

Because the story linked back to this thread.

Oh shit, ha.

but to be honest, if someone posts a rumor from a source who has been reliable in the past on a public forum, I don't see the big deal. It does make IGN look kind of funny, but that's the internet.

Apply again and say that you have already written for them before. :)

Someone should set up a GAF member to be a 'valued insider' - and everyone posts "wow so and so has been right on the money before about ______ before it was reported" Then have that member say they heard all this stuff was coming and watch IGN report on it. Would be a hell of a troll.

Reminds me of when the Cheap Ass Gamer forums trolled the fuck out of Kotaku with a fake 360 redesign rumour that they ran as a story http://kotaku.com/5052203/what-is-the-xbox-pure-

Loved their butthurt reaction when they found out:
UPDATE: It appears that this rumor story could be CAG throwing their credibility out the window as part of a contest. Kotaku''s decision to run rumors is always based on the credibility of the site and the information contained within it. In the past CAG has proven to be a reliable site, having broken a number of stories through apt reporting. It appears that may no longer be the case.
Kotaku, of all people, having the cheek to call out the credibility and reliability of someone else.

A source just told that
there are going to be games at the Tokyo Game Show; heck even a few days earlier.
Sounds crazy, so I'll keep an eye out; don't get your hopes that high guys!
