Seems some like it, some don't. I haven't played it, but the trailer made it look like they put a lot of effort into the game at least.

I recently got Mario Kart 7, Kid Icarus Uprising, Star Fox 64 3D, and Resident Evil Revelations during a Best Buy sale, as well as downloading Mighty Switch Force when it was on sale last weekend. I'm creating a hell of a backlog for myself, but man will it be sweet whenever I finally get around to all of them. Gotta say, after a weak launch the 3DS library is starting to shape up really nicely.

Problem the 3ds has had is it's had big blips on the radar followed by big lulls. Launch had a decent slate of games then we got nothing for a while. Then we got Zelda, and then nothing. Then they price dropped, but we still got nothing. Then last Fall/Holiday season hit and we got stuff for a good 4-5 months from like Nov-March. Now we are in a period of not getting much again.
This should start to change with KH dropping and starting to chain us on into the Mario and XL launch onto the Fall season.
Very nice. I'll try to remember this exists... it's pretty packed this Fall for me.

Any RPGs available on the virtual console?
hmm? rhythm thief, heroes of ruin, and final fantasy theatrhythm have all released in the past few weeks. and as you said, KH is coming at the end of the month and the rest of the year is absolutely loaded with nsmb2, code of princess, layton, adventure time, paper mario, luigis mansion, castlevania, scribblenauts, etc.
Sword of Hope 2, but it's pretty slow and boring, not to mention unbalanced. Depending on what you're looking for, Gargoyle's Quest may be your best bet - it was designed to look and feel like an RPG even though it's more of an action-adventure-platformer hybrid (think Monster World).
I'd say it's been a pretty good first half of 2012 for 3DS. Can't overlook Revelations, MGS3, Tales of Abyss, Kid Icarus, Mario Tennis, Heroes of Ruin, Rhythm Thief, Tekken. Not to mention all of the eshop stuff.

Japanese price is 2,500 yen (which is cheap by Japanese standards) but that is translating to 2,100 yen in stores which is an utter BARGAIN.
Yes, Rayman Vita/PS3 was the same price, but fuggid, i support Ubisofts great pricing and i've added the 3DS version.
So far - it's all well and good - the 3D is a mixed bag and the small graphics view isnt as good as other versions but, yet again, the near field/far field 3d planes add something. So far - it's well worth the cash because ITS A BARGAIN! but hey....

I've not played Heroes of Ruin but of the two Theatrhythm is a better product than Rhythm Thief

Why isn't it out in NA yet? It's something I would pick up, at a reasonable (<$20) price...

My brother is planning on getting a 3DS soon, gonna tell him to wait for the new model to release. Thing is what region should he get; Europe or US?
I'm leaning more to US myself since they have a bigger chance of getting certain games release than EU.

It's region free as long as the DS cart isn't DSi enhanced (I'm sure there's a Wikipedia entry for such titles).
And I'm wondering whether Nintendo will ever introduce Super Gameboy enhancements to existing Virtual Console games at any point?

Kingdom Hearts 3D is out today ! The only thing is, I'm in Spain right now, and since it doesn't have Spanish in it I fear I'll struggle to find one copy (Nintendo Spain isn't distributing the game here, Koch Media is).

Oh cool I don't own any DSi enhanced games, so if I have a US 3DS, it can play my EU-region Ghost Trick? Wicked, thanks for the feedback.
Sonic Collection is the only non DSi enchanced game that's region locked and the wester release of Pokemon B&W is DSi enchanced but it's region free.
That's ridiculously ugly box art, but the game will be amazing.
Too soon. Give it another 6 years.
