Nintendo 3DS Games: what does this thing have?

Did Nintendo announce any new XL colors or special editions for America? I gave my sister my launch 3DS since I wasn't using it but with the recent eShop announcements and the upcoming lineup I don't think I can hold off buying another one much longer.

As far as I know America is getting crapped on in terms of color choices, since we're still stuck at red or blue.

Seriously you just gave away an expensive piece of hardware like that?! :P I think NA has the Zelda LE.

And NA really doesn't have any except red and blue? I'm sure you guys got purple at least.

We have red, blue, pink, white, black and I think purple.

You can choose whether to keep it on file or not.

Cool thanks. I don't like to keep my card on file with anyone but Amazon. Plus if they do add a bunch of GBA games to eShop I really don't want it to be that easy to be tempted.

Just a PSA it looks like Devil Survivor Overclocked is disappearing, no longer available and only avail from third party sellers on Amazon. Still reasonable price from a couple sellers but some already have it marked up to $50. Get that awesome game if you haven't.

sorry for the slight off-topic but i cant make a thread to ask for a specific matter for 3ds.
im moving some time from greece to america and my main concern is the charging.can i use a usa charger for my european 3ds or will it harm it?i have bought a ton of stuff from my e-shop and i dont want to destroy/break my handheld...
thank you in advance

well i guess no-one cared to answer....

Grabbed Pilotwings Resort and Steel Diver together on clearance for $15. I guess those will keep me busy until Code of Princess releases.

How's Sakura Samurai? The trailer made it look really cool so I'm thinking of picking that up.

It's short and lacking in variety, the game's fighting mechanics never changes or evolves other than the enemies getting more Hp and you conversely getting more attack power. Overall a nice concept but not really worth the price they are offering for it .

And for another different take, I really enjoyed PH and ST. The touch controls take a little while to get used to, but once you do they work really well.
Agreed. So far the touch controls have been fine. Took time to adjust but now it's second nature. The game has been really fun and engaging.

I have been absolutely obsessed with Denpa Men over the last few days. Haven't felt this way about a game since Icarus. What a wonderful old-school RPG.

Well the Pikachu XL is heading to Europe, so I think NA is due for one soon.

Need Advice, i've been asking about this for a while, but I found an ambassador 3DS in good condition for $140. Should I buy it, transfer the games, and resell for ~120?

Little nervous, it's kind of a big investment. Should I pull the trigger?

I would totally take that deal if it was available to me

$120 is a pretty fair/good price for a used, good condition OG 3DS in the first place so I don't think you have to worry about it losing value suddenly if you don't sell it quick enough or something

just pulled the trigger. Ambassador status here I come!

edit: motherfucker cancelled my order

So pumped for the 3DS lineup for the first half of 2013. Enough games still coming out in 2012 that interest me to keep me busy, but 2013 before E3 if nothing gets delayed is going to be a glorious time for 3DS owners.

I haven't seen the 2013 lineup. What is it?

Sucks, but I assume we'll eventually get something different.

I'm a very generous man so I couldn't help but give it away since it wasn't being used. I would love a purple XL. Just thinking about it has me drooling.

I wouldn't mind this either since it will be limited.

Wasn't really sure if this needed a thread, but I figured it'd be of interest to some. Nintendo revealed the download sizes for a few of their games.

NSMB2: 2950 blocks (370 MB)
Demon Training: 1600 blocks (200 MB)
New Art Academy: 4050 blocks (506 MB)
Girls Mode: 10553 blocks (1.5 GB)
Animal Crossing: Jump Out: 8192 blocks (1 GB)

Also, apparently you can take 3D in-game pictures in Animal Crossing: Jump Out.

Funny how Girls Mode is the bigger one of them :lol
I guess it's because of the more complex character models. :p

I can't wait for Style Savvy, been having a blast with the demo, digital day one for me.

But now that I think about it, WTF were Nintendo thinking? The demo has only 5 uses? I remember people defending the dumb decision to limit the demos number of usages, they said "I don't have a problem with a 30-plays limit", well, obviously not, but the inevitable came and now I have to leave my software active or I will not be able to play it again, it's so annoying, and stupid, enjoying the demo more than 5 times won't stop me from getting the game but the complete opposite.

There's going to be a second demo that will allow its save data to be transferred over to the full game, so I'd imagine that one will have more uses. At least I hope so.

I don't believe a demo play limit of less than 10 is defensible under any circumstances, but when you get to around 15+, I think that's pretty fair and makes sense from a business perspective.

I know people who, to this day, still play demos of several year old games regularly, and refuse to buy the game outright. That is definitely a problem.

Old 3DS Games going up on the Japanese eshop November 1st.
