where's the F2P Tomodachi Life game that uses Amiibos instead of Miis
I wanna make Shulk sing a dumb rap about helicopters with DK, Marth and the Wii Fit Trainer
Now I want that too, thank you

I mean, they don't do jack in terms of working with software or being functional. But some of them look really really nice. Given how cheap they are, they are cool (if you are into collecting figurines). So I would only suggest collecting, if you are into them for well....just collecting. They aren't that functional as of now in terms of being useful. This is my collection:

have you guys heard reggie's japanese?
it's really bad....he'll do whatever he can to avoid talking about japanese figures. ^.^
Holy crap hahaahah
Can you believe there were people who said amiibos were a dumb idea?
Anyone pointed out that amiibos will outsell Wii U this year yet? Because it's both sad and hilarious.
And I'm sure Ferrari sold more hats and jackets than cars this year.john deere sold more baseballcaps than harvesters this year.
I don't get your point

Well, 2.5 million in 1 month and a half in America. Not sure how DI and SL compares to thatOriginally I wanted just a few (Pit, Robin, Megaman, Shulk and Toon Link), on day one while getting Smash I got Mario and Villager because why not, now I'm hunting them all, and I wont rest untill I have the whole Smash line D:
Edit: But I guess 2.5m is still kinda low, especially compared to DI and SL, then again it's only one platform without a proper amiibo game, so idk.

So really, what's the next line after the Super Mario line? Animal Crossing, or Pokemon.
Pokemon has to happen right?
Okay, did you make this display or buy it somewhere. Because it looks absolutely beautiful.
We're almost certainly going to get an Amiibo-centric game revealed at E3, right?
It seems like the obvious next step.
I just realized that I have no idea what the actual Skylanders and Infinity games entail. My only exposure to them was a trailer for the Baymax figure that they played before Big Hero 6 in the theater... from that trailer, I gather that these games are just big open worlds that you walk around in and beat enemies up?
It shouldn't take too much effort for Nintendo to top that.
Nintendo would be fools if they didn't make one.
They are 3d action/platform, similar to the old skylander games. Infinity also has a "user generated content" mode.
Skylander Swap force (the third installment) was pretty good, in mocking old-school 3D platformers, imho.

GAF, what really matters here is the Nausicaa poster.
Yes, because I still don't understand the wide appeal. Hell, I listen to a Nintendo podcast where all the members don't get the appeal.
I figured Amiibo would be a decent side source of revenue due to sales from die-hard Nintendo collectors and parents of small children, but nothing on this magnitude. And it's certainly not the quality of the models that is the appeal.
But shit, I guess I'm happy for Nintendo, as long as the Amiibos keep being used for trivial extra features I don't care about.

nearly 2:1 IIRC (2 being amiibo)Dat Amiibo Thirst is real.
What's the attach ratio with Smash?
