Holy shit, they're acknowledging the existence of their current platforms? And DQ VII?
That is, somehow, a clever decision. Somehow.

This clearly shows that Zelda just isn't that good and they don't have any confidence in it carrying their show.
Hopefully Pokemon picks up the slack.
Seems like they heard everyone bitching and added that second day to try and save face. I guess it's something.
I'd say that implies a flawed, muddied and badly thought out marketing strategy, if not more sadly. Wouldn't you? They're showing off games that have already been announced and, in some cases, are about to be released in as little as two weeks following E3. They're not going to make a presentation that lasts an hour where the only new information being handed out is a release date or two.

Lmao I would die laughing if Nintendo did that. Ok I wouldn't die, but it would be hilarious.Mother 3's gonna be an NX exclusive to force Mother fans to buy an NX. You know it'll happen.

Unfortunately the exact opposite of what Nintendo needs right now after the Wii U.

NoE sent out invites for their post E3 event today and according to the description they plan to show "upcoming Wii U and 3DS games" there. That was quite amusing to me, considering that they only want to show one single game in playable form at the actual E3.
But then again, maybe it's general change of heart and they'll reserve a small portion of their E3 booth for games other than Zelda after all. However unlikely that might be.
I don't know, it sounds like it wouldn't be much better than a regular Direct if they had one.Lack of a digital event/conference is still bitterly disappointing

Picross 3D 2 better be there Nintendo. Boxboy 2 too.
Boxboy is secretly the greatest new IP of all time.Picross 3D 2 better be there Nintendo. Boxboy 2 too.

I'll have to watch both the day after going to need them Nintendo twitch archives
That's one word for it yeah...Nintendo is really improvising their E3 show this year
Because the marketing has been on point during the Wii U's lifetime? No, it implies that they had a marketing strategy that had to be scrapped because something happened with their NX plans.

How are they a bad way to present games? They're just live streams of the games being played. Do Sony and MS fans not like that these days?
They're going to have an unannounced Mini Direct focused on the NX in 3 minutes, someone will make a thread that it's happening live and no one will be around to see the 5 minute blowout.Wait some more days, who knows? Nintendo, there's no PR like it!
In the ground, dead and buried.

Maybe best to go lowkey with the content at such an event.
Metroid and Paper Mario should be sent back to the drawing board.
EDIT: I'm sure both of the games will be there. But if your Nintendo PR and you want people to get hyped for the E3, those are two games you don't mention.
They should hire Gary Busey as head of PR/Marketing.Jesus Christ Nintendo's messaging is terrible these days.
No wonder no one knew what a Wii U was

Which Busey, Silver Bullet family Busey or snorting coke off dogs arse Busey. I'll be entertained with either I'm sure. They should hire Gary Busey as head of PR/Marketing.

Is the NX situation worse than we know?
Oh so it's not just Zelda. Cool. Cool cool cool.
