We're all just preparing ourselves for dissappointment; we all know that there will be new games announced for Japan only, along with more details on upcoming games, such as Paper Mario and Animal Crossing.
Im just gonna wait and let GAF cover all the good stuff. Not really itching for anything except WiiU news, unless its truly mind blowing.

I am disappointed in all of you.
The lack of hype and the outstanding amount of realistic expectations is simply sickening.
As a seemingly eternal junior, I had dreams. Dreams of being banned in a horrific explosion of Nintendo Direct hype. Dreams of nonsensical gifs slowing down my mediocre Australian internet. Dreams of Yoshi's Island everywhere. I can safely say that your realism has destroyed such aspirations.
I hope you're all happy.

Don't worry, on September 12th there will be a ton of bans as people lose their minds a day before the conference even begins, expecting Nintendo to confirm every major franchise for release on the Wii U in 2013. This ND is the calm before the real storm.

Just a bit surprising since the last Nintendo Direct delivered huge surprises and established a phenomenal precedent. However, other Nintendo Direct events had nothing going for them and everyone adopted Reggieficaction! I definitely agree that this event will just forecast what is confirmed as happening in the next few months but I find Iwata to be an excellent presentor and all the videos are really fun to watch.
Anything extra is a bonus!

I think if there was anything to show, they'd probably have the conference at a time that Los Angeles would be awake.

It does seem like the new rule of Nintendo is when you expect something, you get a big middle finger, when you don't expect anything you get a delicious banana. So this ND has that going for it, bananas for all!
