Nintendo Direct WiiU/3DS @ 8/7 - NA: 7am PT, EU: 4pm CEST

E3 repeats with a bit more detail, a word about the next firmware update, and as a 'surprise' something about that F2P Steel Diver universe game.

Expectations are low :P

Your expectations are still too high. It's better to approach Directs with absurd amounts of cynicism in hopes of being pleasantly surprised.
 
I'd be alright with:

- Zelda aLbW detailed. Fully orchestrated music, updated dark world, new maps to explore.
- Zelda WW: New and improved difficulty setting, fully orchestrated music
- Mario 3D World: Fully orchestrated music, more level showcases
 
Nintendo Life are saying "Previously announced" games. Where does it say previously announced? All I can find is games that will release in 2013 (which may or may not be previously announced).

Well you'd think that they'd have announced all the big games releasing this year by now.

Was going to make a "Kinda like how GAF views Nintendo right now" but I know thats not true.

My guess is TW101. It's long due for its own Direct.

My PR email from NoC says "previously announced games for the Wii U and 3DS launching this year". That would be for the NA direct though, I have no idea about the EU.

Maybe a new WW HD trailer. I'd like to see Dragon Roost (?) island, the ash particles were mind blowing on GC, can't wait to see how it looks now.
 
I don't expect any huge news and will be more than happy with some new info and footage of WWHD, Mario and Donkey Kong and a mention of the other big summer update. Oh, and Endless Ocean 3 of course.
 
I am looking forward for 1st game/exclusive each 2-3 weeks starting with W101 (and trailers for all) and the unveiling of the 3rd Sonic game (which was previously announced).

Also firmware update, eshop available from PC/mobile and (I hope) NNID disconnected from console (together with 3ds integration) and private Miiverse communities.

On my unrealistic wishlist: media integration (music, videos, pictures), screenshots at minimum 720p and two gamepads integration.

Given the different release dates for w101 I expect a separate ND for this (combined EU/JP and NA later)
 
I don't think we're going to see anything too crazy. They said it's about upcoming (2013) releases and that's what I expect. I think we'll see new screenshots and videos of Mario 3D World, Donkey Kong TF, WW HD, Zelda LBW, ect. Then maybe a bunch of VC announcements. They have announced VC releases like that in the past. Oh, and I guess Hulu for 3DS, since they just showed that in Japan or something.

I generally show up the way I leave with these directs, negative. But in between, there are raging highs and vigorous lows the likes of which my medications have neavour touched bafoooore. Actually, this threads been pretty tame for a pre direct thread :/
I'll take anything zelda related, the rest is a bonus to me.

I think Zelda U info would be incredible, but we'll probably get it after the holiday season in a Direct about upcoming 2014ish games. They're spacing out their announcements now.
 
I'd kind of like to see a new 3ds model but that isn't gonna happen now with the Pokemon bundle coming. I imagine a new 3ds model is slated for next year's E3 period.

As great as the 3ds has been with it's games and substantive firmware updates, the hardware itself is still crap. I'm not talking graphics but the sound quality, the screen quality, the build, etc. I hope a new model fixes these basic issues.

They should have a Mario Galaxy-esque level trailer for Mario 3D World. That would generate some long lasting hype :)
