This may very well be true, but I shall never call it anything other than Where Do Babies Come From. It's just too great.

Good list. I didn't know about a lot of these titles.
I don't know if it's releasing outside of Japan, but Magical Vacation 2 also looks to be good.

VanMardigan

has calmed down a bit.
Too many of those games look like GBA games. I expect the DS to have another slow Feb-though-July period like last year, in terms of both hardware sales and software sales. It'll probably have another big Christmas, though.

Particularly nice that this is coming from you Andy :D
There are pics of FFIII about (scans or photos or something), maybe someone will post em.

They look amazing, thank god its sprites and not 3D lego looking polys. I be getting a DS soon for sure, just waiting out any new models.

So anyone know what Contact is exactly, other than an "online RPG"? Cause it looks awesome in an Earthbound/Mother style.

I'm sure you missed a couple of games in that list. Just don't know which ones.
That would be because we live in Europe :((((((

I'd put Animal Crossing and Mario & Luigi on that list.

Many great games coming to DS :D And maybe E3 will even bring some more :)

As much as I'm excited about a brand-new SMB sidescroller, I really wish they would've gone with sprites.

Lol indeed, what a title! Anyone have a clue as to what that is in English? Just curious...

I think the subtitle of Brain Age is "Train your brain in minutes a day."

Is Age Of Empires confirmed for January 30th? Because I haven't heard anything about it for months? Is it still going to be a crappy turn-based game or will it be a proper AoE game?

From the comments by the director I truly believe 4Q of 2006 in Japan, 2007 everywhere else.

We all seem to forget Pokemon Ranger for some reason, I know I keep doing it. Anyway:

-Boy & His Blob:
-DMC-DS (Rumor)
-Rune Factory:
-Tales Of Tempest
-BomberMan Online
-Shin Megami Tensei DS:
-Azure Dreams

This drought will make it easier to save money for the Revolution. I hope at least New Super Mario Bros. makes it out this year.

Shit, I forgot about the possibility of Boy & His Blob being good, and a new Bomberman using Wifi Connection!! I bet there's lots announced for both handhelds at E3, I can't wait :D

I've responded in the PSP thread with what I may get and why, I figure I might as well do the same here.

Likely to buy:
New Super Mario Bros
Metroid Prime Hunters
Rub Rabbits
Super Monkey Ball: Touch & Roll
Final Fantasy III
Brain Training
Worms

Maybe:
Children of Mana
Tales of Tempest
Resident Evil: Deadly Silence

New SMB is an absolute must. I can't wait to see how that turns out. Metroid Prime Hunters looks like it has come on a long way -- I'm hoping Nintendo's WFC implimentation for this one is spot on, but even if its a little flawed, it'll still be fun, and theres the single player (probably traditional exploration and bot battles) to sink my teeth into. Feel the Magic got boring fast. What it really could have done with was something to add longevity - something like multiplayer! If its at the right price, I'm in. I'm a big fan of Super Monkey Ball, I'm in. I've never played Final Fantasy III, it looks gorgeous, I'm in. Brain Training sounds really unique to me, and I'm a sucker for puzzles and tests, I'm in. I wish Worms was promising Wifi Connection use, but alas its not. It *is* still offering single card multiplayer though - so I'm probably going to get it.

Children of Mana is a 'maybe' because it'd be a shame if its another Sword of Mana style effort. The tileset stuff isn't the biggest turn-on in the world, but its down to map generation? Thats cool I guess. I'll see what I hear about it nearer the time. Tales of Tempest looked great in that short video we got to see -- but it also looked a little plain. I said this about the PSP's Tales game too -- there were things I've liked and things I haven't liked in recent Tales games. I'll be watching reviews closely. As for Resident Evil? I've played it a dozen times. Part of me wants to buy it again for the cheesy FMV and the multiplayer mansion-survival time-attack mode. But another £35 on RE? I'm not sure yet.

Speaking of the GBA-look to some games (not that I mind all that much), but does anyone think that maybe the M&L guys werent the only people who had to build their own alpha kits?
