I wouldn't give it much thought if it weren't for the same thing on the Lanyard, and the exact same four characters used in SMB2 USA. Could be Mario Party, too, I suppose.

To be honest... it's the fate of all Nintendo fans. Leaks hardly ever come. When we got the DKC:R reveal a day early, it was like god himself had opened Nintendo's drawers and lopped some strange nugget our way.

To be honest, it's been a year (by this fall, I mean). They probably will not send an Ambassador's program our way. The NES 30 cent celebration was kind of like that already to be honest.
I have serious doubts that Mirror's Edge 2 will come to Wii U, and that's because it's EA.
Prince of Persia for Wii U wouldn't be shocking.

I'm predicting this now: The new 3D Mario game will have two-player simultaneous co-op. (technically I predicted this back in the "Revolution" days when Reggie teased us with the notion that it would change the "old" notion of video gaming being a controller, a console, connected to a TV).

Well considering how awful Nintendo's last E3 was and the amount of... uh... hype in the thread, I don't even want to begin to imagine the meltdowns if the direct is a disappointment.

I'd take either that or a new bundle which includes a few more controllers or a different game to NintendoLand. If the Direct's really good then it's going to be a pain in the ass to wait a couple weeks to make sure I'm not about to miss out on a price-drop or new bundle here though. :T
