I'm surprised hiw hyped I am for that Sonic game. There are so many gmes I allready know about coming this year.. I will spend childish amounts of cash on games. Any surprises releasing this year will just be devestating to my wallet :)

WW HD would be silly. "Hey kids, buy a new Wii U! You can play a game for a system you already own"

It would be a good graphical showcase, as well as a good showcase of what the controller can do under the circumstances that they will use it for item usage, a map, etcetera. And hey, many people haven't played Wind Waker considering it's gonna be a full two generations old, so this will be many people's first Zelda game. I hope it's a demo, I wanna see Zelda in HD.

So he says "By the way the photo attachment option is still in its test phase so it isn't available to everyone." But I'm guessing it will be like YouTube videos and will not be an option for us regular users.

I mean, I want to see WWHD as much as anyone, but I don't really need to play a demo of it.

A trailer is enough! 3D Mario, Mario Kart, Sonic Lost World, and TW101 are my guesses.

"We have a good partnership with Nintendo," he said.

:lol

But why would he say that it is in the testing phase if it wouldn't be intended for regular users? He could have just not mentioned it at all and it would be assumed that it is not for regular users.

Is it bad that this can get me hyped?

Well and to me EA is a Class 3 developer/publisher. Meaning, I won't touch their games.

Well maybe Criterion stuff, but looking at EA now it's only a matter of time before that studio turns to shit as well. It won't be their fault, but hey. Nintendo still needs 'em though, but I can't imagine buying a EA game on any platform at this point. I think the last EA game I bought was bombabin-after-a-month Dead Space 2 back in 2010. I won't buy Dead Space 3.

I only care for a SSB4 demo and Retro's game demo.
No way you'll see either of those at the Best Buy thing.

All good points but if they're going for a specific audience (the type of gamer who'd keep up with E3) they should be putting out new games. WWHD will be cool and I'll buy it, but if they're demoing new games I'd rather play something new than something I have already but with spiffier graphics.

Criterion are such an 'odd-one-out' among all of EA's studios. That they took it upon themselves to make the Wii U version of NFS a fantastic port because they actually have pride in their work is not something I can imagine many other studios anywhere doing.

And NFS on Wii U is a fantastic game.

Let's hope "demo" isn't a bit optimistic. I'm expecting an in-game trailer for SSB (ala Melee reveal) and maybe a little more for Retro (possibly some live gameplay footage)
Yeah, this. I think the gameplay footage from Retro will probably be exclusive to a big site. IGN or maybe GT..

Compared to the rest of the gaming side, with the PS4 vs Xbone garbage, this thread is a nice little safe retreat.

Well, we've already been through hell after hitting rock bottom and we're currently on our way out. It really is kind of a relief in a weird way that the other guys are now slinging mud at each other like nobody's business.

Nintendo is capable of the best and the worst. 2006 vs 2008, 2004 vs 2003, 2010 vs 2012.

Let's hope this year is a good one.

Treyarch does too. Their Wii and Wii U ports have been fantastic.
