Blame Microsoft not Nintendo. Nintendo didn't force them to add motion controls, they decided that they needed them.

Funny to hear Iwata saying how's there's not much more developers can do to improve graphics, how there are too many sequels, and how exclusives are dead.

I also like how when Pikmin is unveiled someone goes, "Weird." And Miyamoto's got the same sense of humor. Giant Pellet with the number 5: "I wonder how many Pikmin this takes to carry."

We need more Pikmin.

I really think Ninty is going to show the technical prowess of this new machine with Waverace, F-Zero, Starfox, Pikmin! and Mario. Hopefully with a look at Retro stuff.

It will be nice to see some of Nintendos technical franchises get greenlit for the new machine.

They really do have a huge warchest to dip into and say, which of these do we want to start the HD generation with? Some IPs over a decade without gracing a console!

The first E3 press conference I went to was in 2003, and even then, the shows were slick, big production events. Amazing how much things changed from 2001 to 2003.

That little machine was awesome (I no longer have mine since the Wii is BC, but I've got more games for GC then I do my 360, PS3 or PS2, only PS1 comes close).

That's just the stuff that came out only on Wii (or came out on Wii first). Its just as good as the Gamecube, better IMO, in terms of first party output -- what its missing is the best of the HD twins - the likes of the Batman Arkham series, Assassins Creed, the new Tomb Raider, the best version of CoD etc. Cafe will soon fix that, and the Wii has given us plenty.
