I was just thinking about this game today and WHAM! ... I got some screens.
Doesn't look too hot. I hope it plays well.

Oh, didnt know scans were bannable here...i dont post much...

They were posted on nintendo.com's official forum's...

if theres a problem, have a mod pm me ? or ill just take em down...

Hmmm. Nice that there's finally some media on it.

I don't know, it's a good team behind it, but I don't know if their pushing the envelope still. There's a lot of competition with good games out this year apparently. If you could choose between EA and Sega on the GC this would likely be pointless.

i think it looks really good, the players have a good sense of weight and the batting interface looks solid. the stadium backdrops are suspect though.

How can you tell that the players have a good sense of weight without playing it?

I'm bumping this thread to tell you guys about some of information on it in the latest Nintendo Power (the above images are in it). Some of this may be old, but so be it:

-Game made by Exile

- Modes include:
Franchise mode
Exhibition
Playoff Hunt
Speed Play
Rookie of the Year
Home Field Evolution

-"Playoff Hunt fast-forwards to the end of the season and let you play out an historic pennant chase. Each club has its own unique scenario, such as the 1988 Yankees trying to claw their way back from a 4.5 game deficit with only 17 games to play."

-"In Speed Play, you'll hit and pitch as you would in a normal game, but when the batter makes contact with the ball, the outcome is automatically determined by the computer."

-Rookie of the Year has you creating your own player, inserting him on a team, and then using performance points to upgrade your character. The ultimate goal is to have your created player earn the Rockie of the Year award.

- Home Field Evolution sounds almost like a create-a-stadium mode, except you've got to earn points to upgrade. You'll begin in a sandlot and build up to a major leage stadium.

- Once your rookie or staduim reach their goal, they will become availble in any other mode in the game.

- Gameplay uses "Veteran C-stick Control." The c-stick will be used to add spin to the ball (but it sounds like its for a pre-released pitch), to pull a ball down the line, and to set-up a throw from the outfield.

Hmmm. This actually looks promising. It wouldn't hurt Nintendo to release some info, official screens, movies, considering that the other baseball games have, oh I don't know, started to come out already.

.

Does this mean I can make Skydome Skydome again?

I won't pay full price for this...there isn't enough value in it, for me, to shell out full price for it. But it sounds like it's fairly feature laden and looks fun enough. Here's hoping for a miraculous lower price point or bad sales and a quick price drop.

That is new to me and that Rookie of the Year and Home Field Evolution sounds pretty sweet. Those screens don't look bad either.

You just contradicted yourself. If feature rich does not equal value, then what does? It looks like it has as many modes as any other baseball game.

Screens look decent, the jerseys look accurate. Hopefully these are early screens and the game has been touched up since. Sadly, there's still no news if Minor League teams are included or not.

I dont think they should. Not till the game has been out for too long.

Give me an updated version of Ken Griffey's Major League Baseball (N64) instead! That was the best baseball game I have ever played.

But you are willing to pay full price for other baseball games?

Even Mario Baseball?

...depends, really. But, that is true, I'd be more likely to buy that over a real baseball game. I was speaking more in the realm of licensed baseball titles.

Whoever said it is right--the game looks like the players are weighted correctly. Looks like a solid graphics engine, I have a feeling the animations will be a little mechanical. just a feeling!
