VAT, maybe? Nintendo needs to profit from this business, they can't always eat the various costs involved.


I'm fairly sure no matter what Nintendo priced the European releases, they were going to be greeted with "WAY TOO MUCH" "SHOULD BE 30% CHEAPER!" "NINTENDO HATES EUROPE!"
