Nintendo switch UK price £279.99

Quick question


I have a switch coming from Very on the 11th, if i went and bought one from a supermarket Friday and used it, could i just take the one from very back to the supermarket sealed and get a refund? Or do they usually log serial numbers?

Yup I posted this a few times now but Argos rung me the other day about this case, delay is expected u til the 14th.im guessing game and argos will be receiving stock from the same source so hopefully you can expect it then.
 
My copy of Zelda is going to be dispatched on Friday and is supposed to arrive on Saturday. Any chance it arrives on the same day, though?
 
Depends when it gets dispatched. I've had items dispatched at 3am and turn up at around 1pm the same day. It was Prime delivery though.

After seeing reviewers get the official case, I'm just worried the pdp ones aren't as good.

I'm not sure if when they scan a barcode it keeps some sort of identifying number for that sold item. I doubt they do, so a 'sealed' Switch should be easy to return.

One of my Twitter followers phoned them up and was apparently told they will be shipped tomorrow for Friday delivery
 
Amazon Prime Switch console not dispatched yet. Still says "Will dispatch 1st March" so I'll give it till tomorrow morning before I contact their CS.

I'm all about the HORI case. I have had great experiences with HORI cases in the past so this is the one I ordered.

Yeah, they'll likely just next day it tomorrow if it doesn't go out tonight. Probably makes more sense for them to do it that way.

Companies rarely use their own barcodes, doubt they will log serial numbers so you should be fine

Why tomorrow morning, Amazon prime can dispatch overnight Thursday-Friday morning and it wills till get to you.
 
Weirdly, my 1-2 Switch I ordered with Amazon won't be here until the 7th. I have Prime too. Surely they're not sold out?

Yup. I have a HORI case for my N3DS and then an Amazon Basics case for my N3DS XL and I love my HORI one it is such great quality and fit.
 
Went for a pre-order on ShopTo. Hopefully they'll pull through with their word on delivering the Switch by release. Never used them before!

For anyone that got their pre-order from Game cancelled, if it's any consolation, you may be avoiding the complementary pubic hair that sometimes comes with products from there. That's got to be a good thing, right?

I've ordered it from Argos tonight, shipping directly from their supplier they said when I got into customer service.
 
Amazon were meant to dispatch my stuff today (it usually always takes them two days to here, and that's what has been projected, dispatch 1st for delivery on the 3rd) but they have not. Now, there are still two hours left, but I am not hopeful..
 
I didn't see any Neon consoles on John Lewis (maybe I was too slow?)

*sigh* At least I still have my grey console from amazon.

Amazon are seriously trash with pre order games in my experience. I know I've said it before but I have never had a preorder game arrive on time from them. The worst time was with Pokémon x, WHICH WAS EVEN RELEASED EARLY at Game, but my dumb ass had to wait til the Monday because my copy didn't even arrive on the Friday it was supposed to. :-<

I will be incredibly surprised if my amazon copy of Zelda turns up on Friday.
 
For those still looking John Lewis just started selling the switch in grey, with a 2 year warranty.

Edit: sold out already :O
 
All this amazon talk is worrying me :(. I've it prime and both switch and Zelda due to be dispatched tomorrow for delivery Friday fingers crossed. Hoping they don't send it via amazon logistics.
 
Yeah still waiting on Amazon to dispatch too. My copy of Zelda should be here tomorrow from the Game Collection. Tomorrow night I will be like a kid on Christmas Eve, I won't sleep a wink.
 
Yeah I would stop F5ing Amazon if I were you, you'll be disappointed. They'll send them tomorrow. Maybe even tomorrow night just overnight. Always happens with Amazon pre-orders. And I don't live in a super metropolitan ie big place (Gloucester). Always come on time as well. Shouldn't matter that this is a console. My Pro didn't give me a dispatch order until like 11pm the night before it came out and I got it 12pm the next day.

hmmmm, intresting, downside being if for some reason they don't take it i'll end up with 2, no bad thing though one of me and one for the missus and kids. lol

I am assuming the console + zelda is seperate bundled together by Very and not a package, otherwise that could throw a spanner in the works.

Indeed. I'll be happy if I get it by Saturday at this point. Sunday will be the first chance I have to sit down for a good session with Zelda anyway.

I got the e-mail from Nintendo UK yesterday to say that my copy of Zelda WiiU was on the way, so I wouldn't be surprised at all if that arrived a day early tomorrow. Was buying it mainly for collecting purposes, but if the Switch doesn't show by Saturday I might well get stuck into it on WiiU instead.
