Nioh Last Chance Trial Thread: It's your last chance, seriously.

Did everything.

Tachibana is a bit bullshit, but is not that bad once you get it down. Personally I hate the Tengus. Overall getting stunlocked into death is a bit bullshit on a game everything hits like a truck.

I feel like the only "unfair" part of Tachibana was getting hit by the paralizer, other than that its a pretty challenging but fair fight.

I tried for the 3rd time but the gameplay is just not clicking with me, by gawd did I try. It's just not fun and too frustrating(for me at least) the setting is awesome but gonna have to skip, though I want it to do well so we get more similar games and settings. Really hope TN have NG4 in the works.

Seems unfair to me that he can stunlock you into oblivion and interrupt all your attacks while he can prepare his fast draw attack while taking all hits. Or basically he has infinite poise, so is imposible to directly trade blows with him,

Funny story about Muneshige's doggo.

Ran out of Ki on my latest run of his mission and was about to get grappled by him, but his dog summon smacked me and gave me a faster recovery than if I had to wait out the whole animation. Little guy saved me from getting impaled and a few extra elixirs from being spent.

He only has poise on certain moves, if you see him do draw stance or the lightning flip, he has super armor during it. Once you learn that, you should be aiming to dodge it, usually by rolling through him right before he hits you. You can get him after you make him whiff those moves. Whenever he rolls to dodge an attack, he actually is open to being lit up. Funny thing is that some moves seem to interrupt his super armor, I think I manage to stagger him with the weakness talisman when he was running at me. Though I wouldn't want to try that on purpose, since the startup of doing a spell is quite long.

Unlocked the mission where you have a a duel with samurai, dude sometimes instant kill me while I can barely hit him and I am in the recommended level what should I do now, I cant see other missions to play

I beat him.

Just saying is not a real battle in equal grounds. Is not like you're fighting another NPC with the same rules as you. Is still a cool boss fight though.

Move your cursor to the left side of the screen to the swirling red circle. That is a twilight mission, basically a hard mode of the mission you just beat. Even though it is recommended level 25, you can beat it after you beat the normal version.

Did you play the alpha(or previous version)? i'm getting the same error too. I feel like that's the reason. If anyone else sees these post do a quick report back maybe we could figure out the problem.
I did, but I thought I played the Alpha on a different account (my JPN account) so that shouldn't matter...could be though. I'm on a US account right now, so dunno if that matters.

The recommended level is an evil lie. Go do the twilight mission and return afterwards.

Press L2 in the level select screen. Play the Twilight Version of the first level. Kill Revenants and rekill boss for phat lewtz. Go back to samura-bro and cave his face in.

Are you locked into missions oncr you start? This feels a bit like Monster Hunter.

There's a purple item in your inventory precisely to get around that.

I did not. I'm having the error now.

ok, well i guess that settles it. It's a error on their side. I copied my alpha data to a USB to see if it was a previous version giving the error but i still get the this content cannot be selected at this time message. Here's hoping it counts for both.

Maybe it's because I just finished the main game of DS3 but... I'm burnt out of this type of game. I don't even have the urge to play the DLC, maybe when the 2nd one comes out I'll do both. I tried the demo and while it looks like it could be fun I just wasn't in the mood. Initially had the game pre-ordered but cancelled it. Quite a few other games coming.

Wish it drew a bit more from the Ninja Gaiden games... Somehow.

How do you guys get to level 25 just from the first mission (and maybe Tachibana)? I'm at Tachibana after clearing the main mission and only level 14.

So uh...is there no way to leave "Invitation from the Warrior of the West"?

I'm pretty sure I can't beat him. I just want to go back to the world map and do the regular areas again. I feel...stuck?

Twilight sure seems to be a wake up call after getting cocky for beating Tachibana, haha.

But this revenant farm at the beginning will probably trivialize everything, so many incredible equipments being dropped.

Will this revenant feature work the same way on release version? It makes the game loot utterly useless.

You are not supposed to attack him while he is charging those. Keep your distance if you see him slash a few times get close and attack him after he is done, and if you see him running towards you that means he is gonna do the quick draw, which you can dodge forward, leaving his back exposed.

What's the recommended level? 13? That's where I ended up beating him at.

So i beat the ogress but i just keep the save data from this to get the reward? I dont download it from the store like the others?

The way the weapon bounces of the walls is so cheap, DS is much better let stuff go through walls when it makes sense. This game in general is cheaper the Souls, the only thing is Bloodborne is crap with it's camera.

Man I'm really having an awful time doing the twilight mission. The monster are so strong.

I dunno if its because I used heavy armor on the other demos, but I had an easier time, now I'm getting crushed.

Those stone guardians are doing 1070 dmg lol.

If you have a bow one of the arrow options 1 shots them.

Yeah getting hit by them is a one or two hit KO. They are slow and only have a few basic attacks and they don't return once killed.

Definitely gonna try that. Thx!

Yeah, and the yokais are also way more powerful, they even have more attack patterns, and I was fooled so I died alot when they used some move they didn't have before.

I was already burned by fighting Tachi (got the bastard after dunno how many tries), so when I tried the twilight mission and died like 10 times easily, I just knew I had to take a break lol.
