No Man's Sky Spoiler Thread

One of these streamers had a hilarious bug where he just went flying across this area after exiting his ship. If the mountain wasn't there he would have kept going

No gameplay advantage, just something to make it feel like you're in a different place than you were on the outer rim.

Both fair points and I agree it's not world ending. I guess we'll have to wait until launch to see what gets resolved.

I'm an old fart so I'm just going to say it's a generational thing. This type of game really has that "let your imagination run wild" feel that alot of the games had way back in the day. I really look forward to unwinding to it after a long day.

Anyway, there are plenty of other games out there with a story and co op so....

Or like, free form guided if that makes sense.

You always get the objectives that will make things spawn that you need no matter to which system you go. I guess once you learn to make antimatter yourself, you get unshackled though.

Nah, I think all planets will have some level of the standard basic materials. Can't put the player in a situation where they would be stuck.

You could put that soundtrack on while you stare at the word space and it'll still get you thinking about what's out there. Traversing a universe while that plays....too good.
 
Really like how the tempo of the music picks up when you're going fast through the galactic map! Music is definitely one of the strongest points in this game!
 
According to Daymeuhn, you DO start the next galaxy with all your stuff:

I use NG+ as a term because you start with all your stuff. But it doesn't seem to "scale" in difficulty. It's just a fresh start with everything you've earned. And fair warning, it all starts broken. ;)

You just have to repair/recharge all of it.

How many galaxies has he gone through? Did he really reach the game's center, or do you have to go through multiple galaxies to reach the center of the universe? (Hence why you keep all your stuff. It's not a new game or a new game plus, you're just continuing the game moving to the next galaxy)
