Thanks for link. I keep going back and forth on whether this game would be worth 60 bucks for me. The reviews are really going to help with that, in terms of giving an overarching look at the game as a whole.
Maybe you read about some Bugs or balancingproblems you didn't see in a Video.I don't think I understand how a review can give a better sway s person more than seeing raw gameplay.
He claimed he visited 40 to 50 planets. That isn't an insignificant number. So it shows that some may have more variety when playing.
Plus he seems to be right about every planet having life. I believe Sean said 90% barren, 9% simple life and 1% lush worlds. Pretty much every planet at least falls into the 9% category.
I'm still excited to play the game, but I admit it's a bummer for me that every planet has life on it. Seems a tad ridiculous. It's a game though, so whatever.

I'll be honest, I canceled my preorder, re-ordered, canceled, and the re-ordered all in the last 48 hours. What is wrong with me? I am getting this game it looks fucking awesome. Thank you to the latest stream. Now I wish I could find a preorder for the collector's edition.
After watching this stream I will not be buying... I have plenty of resource collection games, thanks!

The bigtigstream was nice. Great to see some more spacestation stuff. Can't wait, may get my copy this weekend.
The game is designed to generate planets that offer a particular experience for the player. If lifeless planets were a part of HG's design, we should be seeing them. But the leakers have found life on EVERY planet in EVERY system, which is arguably a representative sample reflecting what the player is supposed to experience.Well, 1% of 18 quintillion planets is an insane number of planets on the lush and populated spectrum.
9% of 18 quintillion is an even larger percentage. I don't have the exact math, but it's massive.
Between the two streamers, they've hit what, 50-100 planets, maybe? 100 planets out of 18 quintillion, with probably a few hundred billion of them actually having life in some form, from simple organisms, to more complex creatures.
I have no doubt that there are completely barren and lifeless planets. I'm not going to judge the comically minuscule sample size of 50-100 planets and make broad statements like, "there are no completely lifeless planets!" The game is out in 7 days, and we'll be able to see for ourselves how our experiences differ. I'm of the impression that both streamers have been on the more fortunate end of discovering planets with life. I'm pretty sure there's going to be a player that comes across lifeless planets back to back to back.

I'm very excited to see what my starter planet is going to be. Overall, I don't have a preference for a lush or barren starter. I'm just eager to see where I spawn. I already have a few names picked out depending on the type of planet.
lol so much for "going dark". He probably saw the last guy make some $ from donations and figured "eh, why not". Although, spending $1300 on like 2 weeks of early play on a game might speak against that...

It really isn't. Not statistically. Not when 1% means 10,000,000,000,000,000 planets, and 9% means 1,620,000,000,000,000,000 planetsThe game is designed to generate planets that offer a particular experience for the player. I think I'll avoid it this time then. Ive seen so much already.
So tempting though. I cant get enough.

Thinking in percents, I can see why one would assume we should be seeing planets with no life already. "He said 90% are barren. Only 9% have some life" Those are small values, and we can visualize what 90% looks like. But apply those percentages to the scale of this game and that little miniscule 1% suddenly equals a figure with 16 zeroes. It's an unfathomable amountI can't believe that no matter how much we've seen, when we start the game it'll be completely different.
Ugh. Even Minecraft starts you off in a green area, this starts you off on completely different planets with different species. So close. Just...what...4 days until midnight release?
We can do this >_<
Yeah. Like, there will be a SHIT LOAD OF PLANETS WITH LIFE. more then we can imagine.
Man....best not to think about the numbers, Mason.
That streamer just ran into a moon faced stegosaurus lol
Man I hope someone capped a screen of that weird ass creature Daym just ran into.
Yup, that's the one.
This is the perfect game to chill and listen to podcasts to while exploring the galaxy.
Are there any planets or moons with no atmosphere?
What do you say to the fact that every planet we've seen which is labeled lifeless ("None") has life?Put it this way. There are exponentially more lush paradise planets in this game than there are planets and suns combined in our own Milky Way galaxy (around 500 billion).
Every body seems to have an atmosphere. Are there any planets or moons with no atmosphere?
I see he's stilling telling people the mining tool is broken and everything is in reverse. It's odd how the other guy hasn't had the same problem.
He just went through the upgrades again and it is happening. It's overheating too fast with cooling upgrades.
Did the other guy upgrade?
If so, the relevant mechanics are too vague.Yes, and he was cutting through stuff like butter with a lot less overheating.
This guy is doing something wrong.
Yes, and he was cutting through stuff like butter with a lot less overheating.

Tiggs was actually having problem with emeril with an upgraded beam while daymeeun demolished it with a base one. You're wrong.Yes, and he was cutting through stuff like butter with a lot less overheating.

According to my calculations. The sample size is like 3 people and so far 1 is having issues. I guess if its that bad then about 33.3% of people should have issues at release. 🤓🤓🤓If so, the relevant mechanics are too vague.

No, the relevant mechanics are just fine. When I first started Diablo 3 I'd set it up wrong and I was far weaker than I should have been. It's about learning the correct configurations. That's part of the game. This guy also had problems with other games, which has already been pointed out. I'm not taking any notice of what he's saying, just enjoying the different places he's visiting.
Every body seems to have an atmosphere.
If there are configurations that do the exact opposite of what's printed on the tin, that's a problem. This isn't diminishing returns.
If you choose to believe this guy, fair enough. I'm not and neither did Tiggles (or whatever his name was). He actually said he'd not encountered most of the problems this guy has.

nms is starting to look like pokemon go... travelling everywhere, capturing mons for your pokedex... yes.
