PW1 DS had redone music, yes? Both PW2 and PW3 sound like direct GBA ports.

I was kinda disappointed with 2, I never even finished it after being addicted to the first game. Has anybody felt similar and enjoyed the third game?

PW2 didn't hit me the same way the original did (still awesome though, and I need to finish it up, but I want to play 3!), but I'm liking that you get to play as Mia Fey (this should not be a spoiler, so don't cry) instead of Phoenix...different character, different attitude and such. I believe the game has a case or two as Phoenix too.

Sounds like it. GS3 remake sounds harsher than the first GS1 remake. But the soundtrack is still great though.

But still wish they redone the music. Godot's theme would benefit from the DS's better sound capabilities.

EU release is confirmed by an appearance of the game + some PR woman at the Japan Expo in Paris.

Also there was a French Trailer, just like the German one from yesterday.

It was officially confirmed by Nintendo a few days ago...along with the news of Zack & Wiki for Europe. Hopefully Nintendo will help to push this more than Justice for All, which sank without a trace, sadly (in the UK).

Beat the game and it's clearly better and longer than the second one and quite likely the best out of the three (edit: yes, it is). Also I found the investigation bits less tedious overall than in the prequels. In fact cases 1 and 4 are completely set in court.

Well, the 3rd case is kind of slow, and not that great. At all. I understand why you've stopped there.

But you NEED to do the 4th case. Seriously. It's so DIFFERENT, it can only be BETTER.

As in CAPS-LOCK BETTER.

I'm just beginning Case 2. I never knew the music in PW1 was redone from the original. I suppose that's why PW has the best music out of all of them then? That really, really took away from JFA I think, the music just sucked. There's no reason they couldn't/shouldn't use the same music in every game. It'd still be awesome.

Well, currently in the first trial of the third one, and I have to say, with such an impossible defendant's testimony to prove, it can only be a well thought storyline

Also you gotta love how Godot is the methapor king.

Before that you have to break Butz'locks, and it's a bit shady in my mind, but I couldn't do it because I forgot to present something to Gumshoe, but I can't remember what exactly >_<. It's either that or you didn't show the right evidences to break butz's locks.

I just finished Phoenix Wright 2 last week. I enjoyed it thoroughly, probably more than most other players. I had no problems with the first 3 cases, and as others have said, case 4 is superb. The ending was kind of touching.

I don't mind a little break from the series, so I'll wait until it officially comes out in NA. It'll give me the opportunity to finish off other games in the meantime.

There's quite a number of references... spoony bards, 300, sherlock holmes, pedo bear are all included.

I spent my whole weekend finishing the game and undoubtedly this is the best Phoenix Wright game that I've played. I disliked the filler cases in the previous games, but all the cases in this game are excellent, even if I didn't quite care for the case that merely serve to provide the back story for the other. Maybe I got used to the Phoenix Wright style of reasoning and story telling, I did find this game to be easier than the previous ones since I could expect most of the twists that were going to happen. Even so, Phoenix Wright 3 is damn awesome and has quite a ton of memorable moments.
