No one playing Phoenix Wright 3?

7.5 is about what I'd give the series as a whole personally (up to 3). Decent, nothing great. Lame jokes, plodding dialog, storylines are average at best, brutal at worst and the characters are decent but no one really stands out. By the time I usually reached the end of the games, it has long since run it's course with me. Gotten old.

I can understand the appeal though. Hoping 4 shakes it up but from what I've read, I'm not hopeful.

Out.

I completely forgot that these comes out this week! Maybe I should try to exchange my unopened copy of Rune Factory for this instead if TRU has it tomorrow...

By hating on one of the most loved franchises in Japan, you already fell out of grace.

But I really like Monster Hunter. :lol

I wasn't hating on it at all really. It does have it's problems. Oh wait, I forgot. 7.5 is actually 5.5 in real life. Sorry bout that.

Wait. Did I just read a review where a sizable portion of the text was about something other than the game? I expect something like that from Tim Rogers, but that review was horrendous. When you learn more about the game from the score summary details at the bottom than from the text of the review, something is terribly wrong.

It is horrible, especially since some of the points in his review are misleading (about the judge) and inconsistent (about liking/hating old characters returning).

Of course, I doubt if he even finished the game, since he thinks Pearl is Maya's younger sister.

Duh. There's no need to finish the game to know how wrong this is.

You just need to play it.

In fact you don't, it's known since case 2 of Justice For All that they're cousins.

That about wraps it up for that review.

And I swear, the reviewer actually complained about Trials and Tribulations not changing, and then complains about Apollo Justice changing.

What the fuck, IGN?

What the fuck

(Case 5 end spoilers)
Pearl is SOMEONE'S younger sister, alright, but it ain't Maya.

Did he only play the first game or something? :lol

Yeah, because the whole storyline about maya's aunt trying to usurp the main branch was just a joke and Pearl really is Maya's sister.

:lol :lol

*sigh*

I don't expect all reviews to agree with my own opinion, but I guess holding them up to actually getting the facts about the game they're reviewing correct was too much to ask too.

He made a mistake that only someone who doesn't care about the game would make.

Sister? FFS, That's like calling Phoenix her brother.
He only cares about the game enough to do a strategy guide in his spare time from home.

Write a letter to your local congressman.

I don't think anyone will side with a lazy reviewer, especially when the review is of PW3, and in this thread of all threads.

I don't think it's hard or requires intimate knowledge to write a Phoenix Wright guide. Just...type what you're doing.

It's not hard to keep facts straight about Phoenix Wright in a review of it.

But this reviewer seemed to have trouble.

No, I mean, writing a walkthrough for the guide doesn't boost one's credibility when they mess up.

Just picked it up. $25 at EB Canada after the use of the $5 off coupon. It's the price of freakin' Big Brain Academy... all people should buy it.

Case 1 and already lol'd once.
Phoenix talks about his girlfriend's homemade cooking: "They're magically delicious!"
:lol

No one around here seems to be getting this game. I checked two Game Crazy's, two EB's, a Gamestop, Circuit City, Toys R Us, Target, Best Buy, and Wal Mart and every one of them said that they didn't receive a single copy of the game. :(

When I picked it up yesterday my local EB only had six of them and I was the first person who bought one.

Finished the First case. I thought it was pretty boring overall and long for an "Intro" case.

Loving the seccond case so far. Luke Atmey is one of my favorite characters ever so far. :lol

Blacker than a moonless night, hotter and more bitter than Hell itselff... That is coffee. :lol

Im loving some of the lines in this game. Fantastic writing so far. Godot is funny but as a "Prosecutor" with "no wins or losses" im not feeling him as this uber guy i have to fight ala Edgeworth or the Awesome Francheska

I just went to EB and picked up my pre-order. Last time I went for Justice for All they pulled out like 10 copies of the game all pre-ordered so they could find mine =P I'd gone in just as the shipment arrived.

Just finished Case 1.
"I guess we know who's milkshake brings all the boys to the yard"
I love this game.

Just finished case 1.

This game is AWESOME! Finally new PW goodness!
:D

I just can't wait for the last case
with all the characters from the old PW coming back again!

Holy Crap i just finished the Seccond Case.

Fantastic. The Seccond case is as good as anything so far in the series. Wow.

Im at the Third case now and i just met a Gay French Cook named Armstrong :lol

I can't believe Capcom decided to release this on the same day as Zack and Wiki AND Mega Man ZX. I'm gonna have to hold off on this one until Christmas, but I'm definitely getting it.

I would like to point out that that vast majority of people who ordered this directly through Capcom have STILL not had it ship yet. This is a fuckup of immense magnitude, and I will be going FAR out of my way in the future to either buy any Capcom game used, or rent it. I refuse to directly give them any money, and I hope whoever is responsible for this dies in a fire.

Case 2 was amazing, but goddamn was it frustrating. Toward the end I had to trial and error just about everything. I knew what they wanted but didn't know how. For example
when I had to find the contradicition in the blackmail. I had to use the article? WTF! I guess I see why but still.
