Yes, but rumble isn't meant to "rumble" if your aiming anyway so what does that matter? It's for other types of gameplay, like driving a car or something (crashing against a wall)Shig said:Wouldn't rumbling kind of be detrimental to a motion-sensitive input anyway? that's what sony said... but people wouldn't make it work that way.Shig said:Wouldn't rumbling kind of be detrimental to a motion-sensitive input anyway? not every game uses the nunchuck... so it's a little unfair to call it half rumblegoldenpp72 said:So 360 = full rumble, nintendo = half rumble, sony = no rumble.

i mean a real machine gun kicks as it's firing... if you had a pretty mean rumble and had to try harder to hold the wiimote steady while shooting such a gun in a game, that'd be more realistic (though i doubt the wiimote's rumble is THAT powerful).
but it's all about feedback. if i'm having say a sword fight against someone else, when do i know that my sword swing has been blocked so i can pull it away from them and try again? having the controller rumble gives me an extra piece of feedback. having it go 'sching' through a speaker gives me more. yes you could just look at the screen but more feedback is a good thing i think.

Both controllers include a three-axis motion sensor. The Wii Remote also includes a speaker, rumble feature and expansion port, and can be used as a pointer within 5 meters of the screen.
AdmiralViscen said:PS3 controller isn't a ground-up redesign. PS3 controller isn't a main unit with full rumble with a variety of inexpensive attachments to enhance individual game experiences. PS3 controller doesn't have to cradle in the palm of one hand.

what does this bit mean? TFF?Gek54 said:Nintendo = Dual motion sense, Sony = single motion sense, 360 = no motion sense
Sony = 900 degree TFF, 360 = 270 degree TFF, nintendo = 180 degree TFF.
Everyone is a winnar.
AdmiralViscen said:Gee, maybe I'm doing neither?
I'm explaining the differences between a nunchuk and a PS3 controller, because you apparently can't recognize them.

LakeEarth said:Might suck for some games, like if Punchout used the wiimote for one hand and the nunchuck for the other hand, but for the most part its not that bad.
Gek54 said:Im pretty sure the PS3 controler has usb port and have they announced the prices of these "inexpensive attachments"?
Guess what, you dont have to craddle the wii controlers in the palm of your hand either.
"Differences".....right.
True Force Feedback, in refference to the TFF wheels, sorry.

thank you. now it makes senseGek54 said:True Force Feedback, in refference to the TFF wheels, sorry.
when they released GC they didn't have to say "you can feel the rumble in both hands", it was obvious.AdmiralViscen said:When did anyone expect rumble in the nunchuk?
