I still don't understand why or how the fanbase is ok with these insane prices for a L2D. But as long as people keep paying, they'll keep making them.

The big problem IMO is that they are not only bringing the gacha skins out faster and faster (they were originally only for big events like anni/half anni), but they're also making the default Nikke designs very tame and then doing the lewd stuff on the $60 skins. Then they had the audacity to say (paraphrased), "we would like to focus more on presenting a good story than copious amounts of fanservice." So they don't want the game to be known for fanservice - unless it's REALLY expensive and makes them a ton of money. Hypocrites.

To be honest with you, man (and please don't take this the wrong way) this is the #best‑butts thread, so everyone (myself included) is mainly here for some light fan service. Everything else is kind of outside the scope of the thread, IMO.

Edit: That's not to say I don't get your sentiment, since I'm not a fan of paid gacha skins as well. I rather buy these premium skins directly from the shop with paid currency like I do in ZZZ and WuWa.

The whole game is literally centered around a Gacha system...

You're probably mixing it up with DOAX3 or DOAVVPrism, those are paid games and don't have a gacha system but DOAXVV is a free to play game and runs on a gacha system.
