I'd say pretty high, I'm sure Rising Star Games will team up with someone to bring it over.
Doesn't Rising Star Games only do Euro localizations?

And out of curiosity, is George Kamitani...Japanese? Is "George" just a name he uses for the convenience of western audiences? Is he half Japanese and half something else? The name confuses me.

Do the backgrounds animate?

You seem to be pretty well versed in the area of Vanillaware. Do you know if they expanded their team for Grim Grimoire? I heard it didn't sell nearly as well as Odin Sphere... but with a team that small and the nature of their game engine and tech, the dev costs can't be very high.

I'm not sure but it probably couldn't be too much. I know they worked on it and Odin Sphere at the same time so I'd imagine around Odin Sphere's 12 or a little less.

Yes, Rising Star Games is MMV's European company so they usually team up with a NA publisher to bring the games out in English.

No, he's Japanese. George is a popular romanization of the Japanese name Jouji. It sounds like George, and I guess it makes their name more accessible to foreigners in discussions?

Yes. Vanillaware was hiring 2D artists/designers and object designers for a few months after Odin Sphere shipped. After Oboro's announcement in Famitsu, they have updated their recruitment page to indicate they do not require more staff at this time.

I really hope this game does well, we need more developers to feel that 2D games are still viable, day 1 for me.

gaming heaven would be a new 2D LUNAR rpg, miracles do happen

Gaming heaven would be this game selling so incredibly well that Nintendo took notice and said, "Hey, would you like to co-develop a 2D Metroid with us?"

I played it too, but they aren't saying anything that has to do with Odin Sphere.

Looks like a flash game?

WTF?

Odin Sphere was boring, but I'm hoping they change that for this game. I'll remain optimistic about this.
Until I hear about the gameplay
