At least we're back in 3rd place 4.5 games out.
Still not encouraged about the offense though, Man are they shitting. Why aren't bring up LaRoche yet, I want to see this guy play again.

Edit: And Dodgers are 5 games back now.

sadly the translation is accurate :(

So it appears Hughes' 2nd start rule applied flawlessly today.

Also, jesus fuck Joba is good. Like, he throws unhittable pitches. :lol

The best part of this is that:

- there are more pitchers like them in the Yankee farm system
- they will be paid jackshit by the Yankees for several years to own
- they will only become *better* than they currently are

Onward, Bombers!

The only problem is I don't wan them to turn into Prior and Wood but I doubt Torre will work rookies too much.

Those who fail to yield to YANKIDS FUTURE will be rended asunder by 90 MPH breaking balls and 3-2 curveballs with impossible precision.

...and soon, Austin Jackson, Jose Tabata, Juan Miranda and Jesus Montero will come to mash out your pitchers as well.

bwahahahahahaha, fools!

Yes, because ALL of those prospects will pan out. Of course.

That's a long and laborious process, but rest assured on I'm on schedule. Seriously tho, trust me when I say that ALL prospects just don't pan out. Kyle Davies anyone? There's a reason they're called "prospects".

yes, yes. i know. stating the obvious though. come on man, let us marvel at some HOME grown prospects before crazy steinbrenner trades them for ken phelps again. or for a bag of beans. if at least two of those guys pan out and are starters.... i don't even wanna think about it!

If the Jays finish 5 games out of the wildcard at the end of the season, will the season be seen as acceptable considering all the injuries?

No, but I am sure Ricciardi will use that reasoning to keep his job.

Yay, Derek Blowe showed up again. Dude should just have the season ending hip surgery if he is gonna pitch like a bum from here to the end of the season.

UGH, WHY IS GONEZO IN THE 4TH SPOT!!!

Hal Steinbrenner will honor his father's legacy and keep the team in the family, running it with an iron fist and an iron will to win.

...I hope :(

Also, forget about if all the Yankee prospects pan out.
The Yankees have a shit-ton of high-ranking prospects, the first time this has been the case since...well, ever. Melky, Cano, and Wang have already panned out. If from the group of:

- Phil Hughes
- Tyler Clippard
- J.B. Cox
- Humberto Sanchez
- Joba Chamberlain
- Ian Kennedy
- Alan Horne
- Andrew Brackman
- Juan Miranda
- Jose Tabata
- Ross Ohlendorf
- Kevin Whalen
- Brett Gardner
- Austin Jackson
- Jesus Montero
- Francisco Cervelli
- Austin Romine

If even only 20% of these players reach their potential, that's 3/4 guys who are homegrown and can possibly dominate/excel at their position for many years. Combine that with already good young players that came up like Wang, Cano and Cabrera, and combine that with the resources that the Yankees have, and yeah - there is logical reason to be excited for Yankees fans interested in the future of the team.

Fucking hell the Dodgers defense just fucking blows and the Offense is still dead.

MUTHAFUCK YOU FURCAL! 2 FUCKING ERRORS ALREADY IN 1 INNING!

GAME FUCKING OVER!

Bring up Chin-Lung Hu already, Furcal can't hit for shit and is mentally retarded on defense.

Good job Pierre, Don't strain yourself trying to get a hit or anything. P.O.S

2nd and 3rd 0 Outs, Probably 0 runs...Yup

And Scott Proctor's arm has fallen off after pitching 2 innings on back to back appearances.

:lol Russel Martin.

Well, Party is over for the Dodgers, The new lineup ain't working either.

Typical Dodger game:

A Couple errors that cost the team a couple runs.

0fer RISP

A couple men on 2nd and 3rd or Bases Loaded situation with 0 outs and 0 runs scored.

On top of all that Rick Ankiel took a dump on the Dodgers offensively and defensively.

:C
