By the way, mark this down:

Atlanta wins the World Series.

Bob Wickman (!!!) is the WS MVP.

I've bookmarked this so I can bring it up down the road.
You've made a powerful enemy today, sir.

When will the Mariners fold? It'd be horrific if they kept the Yanks from the WC...

Considering we somehow manage to keep winning with only 2.5 halfway decent starters, a first baseman who needs to retire, a left fielder who has no power (ignore the home runs this week, cheap shots) or defense, a DH who hasn't hit a home run since May (I think), a second baseman who has regressed in every aspect, and a manager who fails at strategy and bullpen management.

I'd say the first round of the playoffs is when our luck will run out.

5 for 74 now, WOW!

What pisses me off is that the offense and defense is failing when the Pitching has been superb considering the starters we still have somewhat healthy. It's time to bench Gonezo and Nomore and start some of the young guys who have a shot at going 1st to 3rd on singles because needing 3+ hits just to plate a run every time is making things worse.

Naw, Grady will definitely stick with the oldies... unfortunately.

Where are the people that were saying the yankees could not beat a good team?

Sweep!

I hate to say it but the Blue Jays and Devil Rays are better than the Indians right now. They didn't have even one extra base hit today and all Yankees runs were with 2 out...

Why don't you give the Yankees pitching and defense some credit for the lack of extra bases?

Why don't you give them some credit for hitting the Indians well...and hittig *everyone* in the league well, at that?

Anyway, next up - the Orioles. They've given us fits this season...let's have Joba mash them out!

oh the red sox.. that's what you get for improving a strength rather than improving your weaknesses.

It's arguable at this point that Gagne actually improved our pen.

Guess it's time for me to start loading my gun.

Wow, Glad I missed the rape time in St. Louis. I'm pretty sure Littlemind said the Dodgers had hit rock bottom about a week ago? 7 Games out of 1st and counting, I BELIEVE the Dodgers have what it takes to catch San Francisco down at the bottom of the N.L. West.
