USS Mariner is reporting that Jeff Weaver is a goner. I'm gonna miss that guy like you miss your neighborhood meth head.

Jeff Weaver looks like he IS my neighborhood meth head.

At least he didn't keep you out of the playoffs, get traded and win a World Series.

(Don't think I'm gonna let you live that one down, god!)

Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Roy Halladay will be out four to six weeks after being operated on for acute appendicitis.

The pitcher suffered the attack of abdomenal pain following his Thursday night start against the Boston Red Sox in which he gave up eight runs in five innings.

The news comes just a day after the American League club announced reliever B.J. Ryan had Tommy John elbow surgery and will be out for at least a year.

:lol :lol :lol I'm just waiting for Vernon Wells and Troy Glaus to suddenly develop the bubonic plague.

Word. Wouldn't it be interesting if you guys managed to stay out 3 GB of first. Just enough to have this alll fall on the Suckfest known as Weaver. Blergh!

:lol "Shoulder Tendinitis" = "Can't throw"?

I heard

I blame Jamie Campbell, Rance Mulliniks and Pat Tabler

The Jays players just don't want to bother playing with such bad tv coverage

Good god its awful

Whoa

Jays actually scored 2 runs :o

He's pitching through some tendinitis. Give him a break.

Yeah I know, but he gives up way too many home runs for my liking. We need a run right here, especially with Beltran on base.

The Frankman said:
Are you inferring that he has the plate discipline of one Jeff Francoeur?
I doubt it, though he might have been implying it.

Davies did okay, though his control still isn't where it needs to be. Let's hope Lerew can keep it up. Andruw homering is always awesome.

Prince Fielder is awesome too. GO LINCECUM.

And those two out RBIs will run dry someday.
Agreed, though the zero and one out RBIs will probably equalize somewhere along the lines as well. This is a good hitting club and will continue to score runs no matter how many outs there happen to be when they cross the plate.

Double agent Adam LaRoche GIDP. Not that the Bucs are that much of a threat, but we all know where Adam's true loyalties lie.

Braves superpen continues to rock out.

The Jays have created a promotion based on all of the injuries to the team.
Bring an ice pack to the game on Tuesday, and you get a free Jays hat.

:lol :lol

Glaus is on the DL now

For the first time EVER I turned down free 100 level Jays tickets tonight, my dad was shocked when he called home in the morning and I said no :s

I don't even want to go to anymore games this season, and I've only been to one so far
