jax will just be fined like Nellie said, but jrich, its just odd, maybe we will know more tomorrow. It was covered very quickly and they moved on.

It's gotta be a lie, TNT would talk about it by now, even ESPN. J-Rich was on the court when this fight "supposedly" occurred, and J-Rich is our most stable guy.

It's amazing .

There were 3 sweeps in the 1st round in the East and none in the West.

Leastern Conference indeed.

Edited.
I know Chris Bosh hasn't shown up, but the Raps are still in the playoffs.

damn edit

You didn't want to see Boki fail.:)

:lol

You figured me out :(

this offense needs a total overhaul

Dirk is catching the ball at the 3pt line. There is nothing he can do from there except pass or take a contested 3.

However #1 seed won't be beat by the #8 seed in the East.

As if going out in five is much better. :lol

And as far as the conferences go, the east has won two of the last three titles (granted last year's was bullshit, but with everyone hatin' Dallas these days I doubt that matters anymore :lol). And it'd be easy for me to see Detroit or even Chicago winning the title, making easy pickings out of their eastern conference opponent and getting a long rest for the finals. The western teams on the other hand are gonna beat each other to death the next two rounds.

And Dirk is a 7-footer w/ mobility who should at least back someone down. Houston was great at backing a guy down to take a jumper.

not from the 3pt line

dirk is weak. alan houston was probably stronger than the guy guarding him.

definitely agree. in the west, it's so competitive that these guys lay it all on the line. in the east, it's a breeze.

Yeah, very similar to MLB's last season as well.

NEW YORK -- An academic study of NBA officiating found that white referees called fouls at a greater rate against black players than against white players, The New York Times reported on its Web site Tuesday night.

The study by a University of Pennsylvania assistant professor and Cornell graduate student also found that black officials called fouls more frequently against white players than black, but noted that that tendency was not as pronounced.

that explains the Utah/Houston series. Does the nba happen to have a chinese ref?

It seems Nowitzki just makes shots when he feels it just plain doesn't matter anymore. I don't think those back to back threes, but the first one in particular, were Dirk trying to put the team on his shoulders and will them to victory. It was more along the lines of
"F*ck it. We're down 9 with three minutes left agains a team of destiny, I'm going to get shat on if we lose regardless of what I do in these remaining 3 minutes because the game is already over, might as well chuck up a three."

Anyways, the loss was absolutely crushing for the Warriors. It had to be. I wouldn't be suprised at all if J-Rich did get in a fight because after he hit that big three he was so amped up, like he knew the game was over, and then to collapse sp completely at the end.... Lets see if they can overcome this and play their normal, carefree, just happy to be here game.

J-Rich shot a corner three, tripped down by Dirk, missed the three. That was the play where Baron got fouled out.

J-Rich fell into the crowd, and supposedly they were all holding onto him or some bullshit so he had to try and get back onto the floor so he supposedly "punched" someone. Meh, I don't believe he hit anyone.

You just know The Frankman is taking a break from his anime and tenticle porn when the NBA playoff thread is inundated with knick references and pictures.

Yes, they'll be another game in this great series. We all win.

Dirk finally decided to take a wake-the-****-up pill.
And Devin Harris came up big at the end there; God I hate that ****er.

That said, the Mavs ain't the favourite no more.
The Warriors probably intended to lose so they can close out the series at home, appropriately, in front of their crazy ass fans. :D

Now, I need the Spurs to repeat what they did against the Nuggets last year.

Warriors VS Spurs WCF, book it!

I wouldn't put it beneath a bunch of douchebag fans to hold on to J-Rich, him flail about a bit attempting to free himself and one of said douchebags then crying foul to the media and saying he got sucker punched. Probably some dipshit trying to sue and get himself some monies.

You might be right. ****.

Is clapping from the opposing team banned @ the American Airlines Center? The refs got Tim Duncan, Baron Davis, and now Stephen Jackson. Who's next?

The Stealth Fox said:
That ejection was pretty stupid. Not up there with Duncan's though.

Yeah it was close to the Tim Duncan laughing ejection. These refs just have too much power now.

"You claping b!tch?!?! Tech, you're out of here!!!"

Anybody that stops the NBA's favorite team from winning the Championship.
