Damn, I can't wait till tomorrow night. I've been waiting since I was ****ing 7 years old for this shit.
7 years old? Damn, that sucks. I´ve celebrated like a mad man three titles already and I don´t even live in the US. :D

The power of Jax will heal all the pain... hopefully.

lol

I don't even give a **** if we get swept man (hopefully we win a couple though). We dropped Dunleavy, Murphy (and they killed the Pacers, but it seems like no-one is talking about that), this season has been freaking great just for that. Oh yeah, we also traded Derek Fisher's huge ass contract to Utah. YES.

I just got back home from the game. The Rockets started out so sluggish, only Yao was ready to play. But in the 2nd half they turned it on. One thing I noticed for sure is that the refs were letting alot of stuff go. But then in the next minute they would call a ticky tack foul. No consistency at all. But the superstars stepped up like they are supposed to.

I am glad the Rox are 1-0, that was a tough win. Being at that game was incredible. So many swings, so loud, so fun!

Do Warriors fans realize their old coach got them into the playoffs?

Of course man.

We've gone through 13 years with 8 different coaches (Gary St. Jean, Rick Adelman, Musselman, Mike Montgomerey, The Choke) to name a few. We never really had a big name coach come in here since Nellie left, plus our front office always ****ed us over. Bad draft choices, unlucky draft year to get the 1st pick. I think every single person that is a fan of the Warriors realizes the last time we went to the Playoffs was because of Don Nelson, and it does help that this is the best team that we've had since we last went in.

That was one of the ugliest games in recent memory, and it looks like the series is going to stay that way.

I expected T-Mac to step up eventualy and he proved me right in the second half. It wasn't nearly as dominating a performance as his usual playoff games were he controls everything, but Yao sort of held the fort for a while and our defense kept us in it.

Yao didn't really have that good of a game offensively, though. He shot poorly from the field, even though he was getting his shots and there's no way anyone on the Jazz can check him. I guess his shot was just off, which bodes well for later if he starts getting things to go down.

TMAC stepped up big time in the 2nd half. I don't think Houston would have won without that 3rd quarter explosion. Yao made up for his weaker than normal FG shooting with good FT shooting. He also set some excellent screens and made some great non-assist passes that led to baskets. This was one of his weaker defensive games though. He was a bit too late in challenging many shots. Why the hell does the media still like to rag on Yao? When ESPN was showing the highlight that DMczaf posted, their first comment was that he was too tall to take a charge, he couldn't make it back on defense but he could cherry pick. WTF? If Dwight Howard had 28 pts and 13 rebs, they would have talked all day about how he's the next dominant center in the NBA.

methodman said:
dude, yao is already a dominant center, why would you need ESPN to reiterate that?

I don't. I just don't get the bashing against one of the nicest professional athletes today. Everyone that knows Yao loves him, regardless of their race. The media is always whining about the spoiled modern athletes yet they continue to make fun of Yao whenever they can. They never give him the credit that he deserves. All they do is focus on Yao's flaws yet they keep fawning over Dwight Howard who has a far less polished game. I just want them to give Yao his due. I was really touched when I read Yao's SI story because I never knew before how hard he's worked. Going from benching 40lb dumbells to 120lb dumbells in 3 yrs is incredible for anyone.

I hope they were joking. No one can deny how important Tmac is in directing the Houston offense but sometimes they make it seem like Yao's nightly 25-30pts/10 rbs are just automatically generated by Tmac. No great player seems to get so little credit. I guess Yao himself is partly to blame since he doesn't know how to market himself at all.

Harpring Foul:Personal (6 PF) 0:07

Matt Harpring is an annoying gnat/twat/****wad like Juan Dixon, Steve Blake, who seem to have Houston's number and is pretty much generally hated on by Rockets fans.

Those are awesome. I saw the RotLT last year at against the Grizz. There's also a Simpson's one they made, but I can't find it on YouTube.

And don't forget about the Brady Bunch one. :lol

did you get tickets to any of the playoff games this year? I heard they released even fewer tickets to the public this year

haha

When Boozer was asked, and, then, pressed again, whether the length of Yao Ming bothered his ability to shoot more effectively, the Jazz forward declared his postgame interview session over.

Jazz: Yao smothers Utah's front line

...both he and Okur generally seemed unwilling to challenge the 7-foot-6 Yao Ming near the basket. Asked how much of a factor Yao played in forcing the Jazz to take outside shots, Boozer first credited Yao with being a "great player," then bristled. "I'm not talking no more," he said. "I'm done.""

This Cavs/Wiz game is so boring, even with the Wiz hanging around.

According to research by Philadelphia-based statistician Harvey Pollack, the Warriors ranked sixth in terms of games missed because of injury this season, with 13 players sitting out 198 games. That's the most of any playoff team. The Houston Rockets are the next-worst-off postseason participant, with 185 total games missed.

Nice.

Lakers look good :o and the Suns are missing shots they never miss against other teams :\

I hope the Lakers win. I would love to see the media throw Nash under the bus as they dive head-first back onto the Kobe love boat. PEACE.

whoa Kwame looked like he was hacked :lol

Suns shooting like the Rockets in the first half

Both teams playing like shit...Suns look as though the game started too early...lakers want to slow the pace, but other than KB refuse to shoot a confident shot

Interesting starting line up for the Suns...Please put Bynum in the game, Kwame can barely run

It seems like a 89-85 game right now...lakers can win that...but if the Suns wake up second qtr, its probably over for the lakers

Raja am cry :lol

with the way phoenix is shooting, lakers should be up by more. lots of points missed at the free throw line. suns are going to kill the lakers rest of the game.

The old Clippers Odom has showed up,owning the Suns right now
