wtf Reyes 3RD???? So a 33-game reached safely streak, 17-game hit streak, high Wins Shares Ratio plus a phenomenal Skittles-to-EXICTING average mean NOTHING!!

Not when he's playing like Hanley jr. in the field :lol
Bull. If that's the case get Ryan Howard and Cecil Fielder Supersize the hell off that ballot. And Pat Burrell for good measure. I'll have you know Reyes still has a good Runs Saved number even with his errors.

EDIT: Oh GOD I just heard on Mike and Maddog:

Chris: Ollie Perez, HE STINKS!!!
Mike: Ehh, what are you going to do?

PHILADELPHIA (AP)—Ken Griffey Jr., one homer shy of 600, is not expected to start for the Cincinnati Reds for the second consecutive day.

The 38-yea-old outfielder played in 54 of Cincinnati’s first 57 games, but he sat out of the first game of a four-game series against the Philadelphia Phillies on Monday night because of general soreness.

Reds manager Dusty Baker said Griffey could be back in the lineup Wednesday night and was available to pinch hit on Tuesday.

The only other players to hit 600 homers are Barry Bonds, Hank Aaron, Babe Ruth, Willie Mays and Sammy Sosa.

Griffey hit homer No. 599 against Atlanta on Saturday, but missed a chance to reach the milestone in front of his hometown fans.

Haha.

Soto's and McCann's stats are very close:

I wonder if new stadiums in Florida will actually help, they still don't go to games when their teams are good.

Owners in Florida don't care much with their fat MLB welfare checks.

If I lived near Tampa I wouldn't pay money to see games in that hole if it was the best team in beisbol (so like now I guess...) on principle. That shit is Montreal level embarrassing and it doesn't even snow there.

I'm curious as to how the A's will do in the Parking Lot with a mayor. The Bay Area is a good sports town, it's just that the Black Hole is ass to watch baseball in.

Haha, i was thinking about this, for the first time in a year, not 2 hours ago. That's so weird.

Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God!! Joba Chamberlain is on the mound as a starter!! This is the greatest moment of my life. No, forget I just said that. This is the greatest single moment for all of humanity! My goodness gracious, he's on the Yankee stadium mound!! He's actually there! It's as if he floated down from the heavens on a cloud of angel hair and baby kisses to save the Yankees! OH MY GOODNESS GRACIOUS!!!!

:lol
According to Yankee fans (and the media), Joba is also the solution for world hunger, AIDS and global warming.
In other news, he's wasted a quarter of his pitches tonight on one out.

65 I heard. And Karakand, this isn't even close to my comeback. It happens in two-three weeks when the internet guy comes to my house to wire up my computer. :D

I'm using Gameday on MLB.com.

Also, Joba throws a clean 2nd frame.

Hopefully he makes it through inning three cleanly too, and then relief starts working.

Oh well.

God, Chase Utley all of a sudden is as scary a hitter as Albert Pujols. The kind of hitter where you let a sigh of relief after a double.

Jobamania ends.

62 pitches, 32 strikes. 3K, 4BB, 1 hit, 1 earned run, 2 and 1/3rd innings

I would've liked to have seen the 3 innings completed, but not an awful debut. Gotta cut down the walks though.

SOLUTION: THROW OTHER PITCHES WHEN ONE ISN'T WORKING
