If Detroit loses the White Sox will gain a game on the entire division, woohoo

I think it was a combination of the long 5th and coming back from injury. Definitely a promising start. It's so good to have him back.LJ11 said:Pedro's velocity was pretty good, control was iffy but that's to be expected, especially with the cold. This long 5th is going to muddy the picture; did it affect him or were the batters on to him?
Promising first start, crossing my fingers for the next one.
Edit: I didn't think Willie would leave him in there for the sixth, but I guess you can do that when you're playing SF.

Should have kept the Braves on TBS.Through 6 weeks, the TBS Sunday MLB game is averaging a .34 rating in Men 18-49, a .33 in Men 18-34 and an average audience of 658,000 viewers.
In comparison, Braves games on Sundays during the 2007 season (thru mid-May) averaged a .55 in Men 18-49, a .56 in Men 18-34 and 1.1 million viewers.
Also, for the full 1st quarter, TBS averaged a .53 in Men 18-49, a .60 in Men 18-34 and 1.0 million viewers.
So, this non-exclusive window not only falls short of what Braves games used to do, but it fares worse than what a movie or sitcom repeats would do.
ha, ok this must be the reason for lower ratings. The games are not exclusive to TBS. Who would want to listen to a national broadcaster if you can listen to your team's broadcasters? Dumb deal if you ask me, I guess they only did it so they could get Postseason games.TBS games are not exclusive. Both teams can and will televise the game to their regular markets.
.
ESPN Sunday Night and FOX Saturday games are exclusive broadcasts.
.
TBS can not change the start time of a game to a window with potentially higher ratings.
.
ESPN dictates Sunday Night start times (usually 8:00 PM EST). FOX dictates Saturday start times (usually 3:55 PM EST).
.
TBS does not have camera position priorities over the local rightsholders.
.
ESPN, on weeknight games, gets camera priority over local rightsholders in select positions including those adjacent to each dugout.
Yeah I guess, also the fans that have extra innings are probably not watching either.Joe said:so it's just out of market fans without mlb.tv that are watching?
