I was at the game. It was the ugliest thing I have ever seen and lost them the game.


Other than the loss, the game was great. I bought a Brewers hat with the throwback logo (mb mitt), and eznark, when you spoke about tailgating I was a bit confused, they don't do that in Cleveland, but EVERYONE was tailgating. It was pretty cool and I wish I was participating. Unfortunately the guy behind me couldn't handle his pregame, because he ended up passing up before the Brewers took the plate, and then THREW UP ON ME in the fourth inning. Luckily it was only on my feet, but I was pissed. The stadium staff gave me a C.C. bobblehead, an Italian Sausage bobblehead, and some other stuff. Everyone was so nice, it was incredible. I wish I could have spent more time in Milwaukee. The people are all so so friendly, which helped make the game a blast still, even though I got puked on.
 
Terrible terrible game last night. Not only did Granny HR pull off a shot, but HGH Martin hit 2!

Oh well, our worst pitcher against your best. One thing I have to say is DAMN, the Yankees are fat. Jeter stands alone on the healthy side of that team, but even then, well, he's got own health "issues" - But at least he had fun

Yes, I am absolutely an anomaly. Most people from Milwaukee are nice like skip, not trolling assholes like me.

Glad you had fun, and yes, tailgating is the best!

They are just "The Fighters." Nippon Ham is their sponsor. (owner, really) Just like my favorite team is the Tokyo Yakult Swallows. They are just "The Swallows," and Yakult is the name of the company that owns them. However, Ham Fighters is an unfortunate combination. :Jakncoke
 
Man the AL East is strange. Honestly I think if Longoria was back, the Rays could be running away with it right now. I suspect it'll be the Rays & Yanks down the strech.

Baltimore and Toronto should stay 500. too. I think the Red Sox just dug themselves too deep of a hole.

I should clarify in saying I think they're awful start will cost them in the long run. At least in hopes of making the playoffs.

They're 3.5 back now, but their upcoming schedule (minus games against the Mariners) seems pretty rough. That, and quite frankly I think it's clear their SP isn't what it used to be.

Seems Beckett's bounced back though.

Yeah, I had a pretty good day. And I only had 1.2 total IP. Funny, considering how much more I liked my H2H team, which is currently losing 8-1.
 
I gotta eat some crow here...the first week I was on here dissing Johnny Damon and Manny on the Rays, and while I stand by my thoughts on Manny (obviously), Damon is really playing hard. Even as a dh, he's running out infield hits and leading the team in homers, so hat's off to you sir!

Unrelated, they just showed a longshot of Rogers Center, and it is freakin EMPTY.
