I'm going to lean towards no, considering he's under team control for 5 years, including this season. You're not going to get that much value from many trades. Wouldn't trade him for Shields, for example.

The problem with Axford is that he is atrocious when he can't locate his curve ball, which means every single time he goes out there it's going to be a nail biter. It's also the reason Roenicke needs to ALWAYS have someone else warm and ready to replace him. If you see Axford has no command of the curve, he needs to be pulled.
