The Minnesota media continued their hatchet job on Slowey today. He was also diagnosed with an abdominal strain. Huh, he says he's been hurting and he's actually hurting. Shocker. This team is turning into a joke. Bill Smith needs to go. Now. And whoever replaces him needs to not listen to Gardenhire's misguided ideas for roster construction. Give him solid pieces to work with and make him learn how to adapt. If he can't (and this season is showing me they cannot adapt on the fly) they need to find a new manager, and fast, while their window is still open with this core.

I don't want LaRoche to come back unless his rehabbing improves his batting significantly. He was complete garbage before he left.
 
How is Morse's defense and range at first base, though? It really sucks that LaRoche hasn't been able to be the player he was supposed to be.

Maybe in 2012.

even more recent, 2007. He is still a hall of famer though which is amazing with his sudden drop off.

Woah woah woah, that's too much of a haul for him. Do you have a relief pitcher who is fairly ineffective? Start from there and work down. It's Bill Smith.
 
The Corpse of Erik Bedard, David Pauley, and Brandon League shut out the Twins. Horrible lineup today, and no surprise they played like garbage again. #6org status absolutely confirmed.

But hey, what do you expect when you hit seven singles and bat Matt Tolbert second. Jesus christ this team is infuriating this year.

Looking forward to Mauer rejoining the team so at least I have one reason to watch.
 
My god, Uggla looks so lost.

I almost don't want him to get better. I want to see how bad it can get. I want to see if he can pass McLouth's futility last year.

Nothing to take personally at all. I guess this phenomenon has lots to do with the sheer amount of non-New Yorkers living in NY that root for whoever is the flavor of the month.

Could be worse. That could have been a Cowboys fan. Ugh.


Also, where did all the bag milkers go, it's been quiet since last night...

They should just go ahead and put him on the dl and let prado play 2nd. Or just send him down to work on his swing.

Aaron's mom always has pretty astute analysis.

C'mon, man. Saying "suck it!" after getting a series win against this team is like doing a victory dance after beating a 5 year old in checkers.
