JESUS EFFING CHRIST ALMIGHTY GOD JASON BAY IS GOING TO PERSONALLY TEAR DOWN THAT 415 SECTION OF THE PARK WITH HIS BARE HANDS...

If the Mets ok one change, you have to make that 415 part at least 395. Probably 385.

Oh my god the Padres fans are here! I TOLD YOU! I TOLD YOU DOYERS/GIANTS-GAF THEY'D COME! BUT YOU DIDN'T BELIEVE ME!!!

Let your downfall commence now...

I've been here... sort of. I always forget to come here.

The Padres downfall will commence upon landing in San Diego.

No! I need Padres-GAF to grow and fight Doyers and Giants-GAF! Don't be negative!

Hahaha, okay.

Let's see... positives... uhh... Aaron Cunningham is back with the team and he can hit at Petco!

yeah, seems like every time the braves have a lead, they give it back the next half inning

btw, uggla now hitting 6-52 (.115) with RISP
and Alex Gonzalez is 1-20 with no rbi's

Nice job, Turner field organist.

Some tweets from my friendly Padres fans in attendance:

Chase Headley - Blazing Saddles theme #cleveratlantaorganist
Jason Bartlett - Simpsons theme #cleveratlantaorganist
Chris Denorfia - Law and Order theme #cleveratlantaorganist
Ryan Ludwick - various Beethoven compositions #cleveratlantaorganist

More DH sadness: Yankees’ designated hitters have combined for -0.6 fWAR. That’s not just Jorge Posada, that’s everyone that has filled in at DH at one time or another this year. Astros’ pitchers have been worth -0.3 fWAR at the plate this year

lololol

No. You cordially introduce yourself, your team, and your LIFELONG status when you enter a sporting thread for the first time. All the trupclows and Jangocubes had to do it, and so shall you!

And then some...

Adam Jones was a beast today. Insane catch and then the go ahead home run. Wish somebody, anybody would step up besides him.

Is the espn3.com stream of the Giants/Cards game down for anybody else? Or do the blackout rules apply to me in the Bay Area even though the game is in STL?

If you're in a city that is broadcasting the game locally it is blacked out.

Umm I need a replay but didn't Harris tag the bag with its foot?? Umpire is massively out of position there.

EDIT: Oh God he's out. Jesus... YEAR OF UMPS reigns supreme.

Same thing happened last night, a few bleeders and bad luck killed Dickey. Here 3 bleeders (questionable fielding), YOTU, and Pagan not quite getting to the ball.

He got to the ball. He just didn't catch it.

Yes, we needed that shit soooo fuckin' bad. When the opposing pitcher is tearing it up, you gotta have your stars step up.

Word. Bruce behind Votto all damn year...righty or lefty. Votto does not get that 2-1 pitch if someone else is behind him.

Once we start getting production from Phillips, Stubbs, and Rolen, it will be BIG time win-fest. Phillips is a little down, Stubbs is really down, Rolen is coming back from injury.

I read that Pujols leads All Star voting for NL 1st basemen. I checked the date 3 times to make sure I wasn't reading an old article, lol.

Chase Utley, the guy who has only played in nine games this season, is in third place for NL second basemen, a thousand votes behind Rickie Weeks. Brandon Phillips is running away with it though, so it shouldn't matter in the long run.

Terry Collins is pissed!! Said changes are coming! Harris gotta go. Also Buchholz going to DL to open spot for Reyes.
I'm guessing Harris's "fieriness" and "clubhouse guy" intangibles have worn off.
Every time the Yankees do something dumb or idiotic, I remember that we're not the Mets
If the Yankees had half the team on the DL... now that I'd like to see.
