Do the angels SERIOUSLY have halo's on their hats? ಠ_ಠ
EDIT:

so stupid looking.

Brandon Crawford's sister is hot.

They interviewed his family and then they caught a foul ball 5 minutes after the interview. What are the chances....

Nova is not a ML pitcher. What starter can't pitch 5 innings because the other team has seen his crap stuff and can hit it

Fantastic 4-hit complete game shutout for Vargas, and M's take the series. \o/

EDIT: Ah, my mistake, it's a 4 game series. Still, :)

Series isn't a guaranteed win yet but it is a guaranteed winning 10 game homestand against three AL East teams.

Second place in the division, second place in the wildcard standings. Fun to be in a playoff race after memorial day.

So do they dangle a potentially attractive veteran arm like Kevin Correia at the trading deadline? Or do they hang on to their current group and make a run at ending their deadly streak of 18 losing seasons?

Dude if we fucking trade him at deadline. I will go down to Neal Huntington and kick him directly in the balls.

Lol why? Dude is 30 and has never been particularly good, you guys could bank big time on his WINZ, there are a lot of stupid GMs out there and I can tell you that Huntington isn't one of them!
I'd be more worried if the Pirates consider Correia an important part of their future.

I guess so, but as an outsider I agree with Huntington's view that just having a .500 season shouldn't be a goal. But I get how Pirates fans would hate that view. I think winning days are coming regardless for you guys in 2 seasons or so.

The Mets have now blown a lead in the seventh inning or later in each of their last six home losses, and according to the Elias Sports Bureau, they became the first team in major league history to do that.
Considering the bullpen was a strength the 1st month or two that's unbelievable. Quite literally 6 wins down the drain.

Center fielder Jordan Schafer was diagnosed with a non-displaced sinus fracture, the Braves announced Saturday morning.

The team said it would not make a move to put Schafer on the disabled list at this time.

The Braves can get by for the short term with both Joe Mather and Matt Young available to play center field. The Braves have not yet specified an expected time of recovery for Schafer or whether he could play with some kind of protective facial guard.

Bubba Starling, if there's a remote chance you are reading this; Washington State has great fishing/camping/hiking areas. We're also pretty low-key in terms of media attention, you know when you want to just relax. Just saying.

I still think if they get a good look at Rendon's medicals .... there is no way Jack won't take him. Bubba scares me ... he might go to Nebraska, he might go play football ... who knows.

Nine of MLB's 30 Clubs are Violation of Debt Rules

Thirty percent of Major League Baseball’s 30 clubs are in violation of the league’s debt service rule, according to a Los Angeles Times report.
Those nine clubs are reportedly the Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Mets, as well as the Baltimore Orioles, Chicago Cubs, Detroit Tigers, Florida Marlins, Philadelphia Phillies, Texas Rangers and Washington Nationals.

Year of the Umps. Fucking disgrace.

Yeah that other pitch to Ryan Sweeney was clearly a ball. Of course he's not a douche so he didn't argue balls and strikes and get ejected like Papelbon and Varitek...

Kevin Goldstein
I'm certain I've never seen a pitcher tossed for arguing balls and strikes after a strike call.

lol

Oh shit, Zimmerman and Harper are both going to be playing for the Suns during Zimm's rehab assignment. Maybe I'll go to another Suns game after all.
