Having a good pitching day is as much about having a 'pitcher-friendly ump' as it is about the pitcher, sometimes.

A lot of borderline calls today, that's for sure.

Hey friends. I miss this thread.

Is eznark around?
glorious gif featuring wonderful Packers World Championship

I needed that. Thank you for the pick me up! World Champions baby!!! GO PACK GO!!!!

So apparently Chris Giminez had a strained oblique last night during that last at-bat when he tried to bunt the ball 3 times and then stared at the fattest meatball pitch for strike 3.

Guess that makes me feel a TAD better about it.

Good riddance. Who would be the backup catcher to Olivo?

For almost a decade now.

Pathetic but I voted for Reyes 50 times. Took like 5 minutes with their setup.

Oops, didn't see it. The Padres are on a run then? Watch out NL West.

They've won 4 in a row, but are still 8 games under .500. Still 10 games behind the Giants in the West and 10 back of the Braves in the WC. I'd still bet on Heath Bell and Ryan Ludwick wearing new uniforms on August 1.

Which ever Cub fan that thought up the idea of letting a fan throw a hr ball back to home and if it reached the hr not count should be punched in the throat. srsly.

They are but Giants are killing too..Just check standings.....7 in a row..No Corran or Xia bragging?

Yeah, we haven't budged in the GB column.

edit: The goal is to be "at or around .500 by the Break" - that could mean two, three, or even four under. I think they've dug too deep a hole to make something of this season, personally, but everyone else staggering certainly helps.
