yeah poor him and his 142 million.

Thats not the point. Dude is trying his hardest and the morons in Fenway are booing him.

You don't boo a play when he is in a slump, only when they don't try.

Lowrie is on fire.

I'm still living in fear of the potential Matsukaka meltdown. Hopefully Tito has a short leash with him today.
Eh, this feels like the one of the 3-4 starts a year where Dice-BB goes 8IP, 4H, 1R or something like that and people get excited and then the next start is 5IP, 4ER, 5BB, 114 pitches and we're back to reality.

I'm sure he does. That being said, he's getting it done right now, the most he has is one more inning, so hopefully he keeps it together.

So the next set for the Red Sox is what - like the lolrioles or jokeland or something?

Why can't the scheduling gods make them face a good team so we can see precisely how legitimate their struggles are? If there was any justice, they'd have to play the Rangers next or someone good next.

Remember that's an out in any other park before thinking this is the end of Crawful.

So yeah, 3-7 in L10, gonna get shut out by AJ and Big Fat Bartolo Colon next, so I should be able to get some $2 tickets over the weekend when 7k people show up.

And? He couldn't even get the ball out of the infield before that. He was just hacking away with every at bat. Something like that is a confidence booster.

Surprise surprise, sox nation is booing a player for being in a slump! Look at us Nats. We aren't booing Werth!! Then again maybe we are but its hard to tell when there are very few fans attending games.

Damn it I'm in Philly or I would have been there yesterday.

I really hate some of the sox fans. They deserve to be fucking kicked.

They give the rest of us a bad rap.

qft. Philly fans are 10x worse than Sox fans. I am generalizing with Philly fans because I've seen many of them act douchey. As for sox fans, I've seen a few here and there but most of my hate is because of the love ESPN has for them as well as stupid bandwagon fans who taunt me because I am a fan of the Nats.

Matt Capps is the twins closer now? why?

I didn't read any article about it but I recall someone saying that Joe Nathan stepped down (whether it was his decision or the clubs I do not know) and the Capps took over the closer role.

Now Nathan is pointless on my fantasy team.

Nathan stepped down, he's been scuffling. They're going to move him into lower leverage roles until he gets some arm strength back. Capps is going to close. Thank god all that bullpen help we traded position players for is helping out!!!!!111

Kill me.

Like the Yankees? Oh wait.

the jays got 1 hit off Matsuzaka?? LOLOOOOOOOL. Man is that team collapsing.

You can't collapse if you have no expectations!! :D

Seriously 3-7 on a 10 game road trip sucks, but its not the end of the world.

We need to dump Juan Rivera though! God he sucks, he plays like he doesn't even want to be on the team.

Never fear. Another 3-7 road trip is in their future after they lose two straight to the Yanks and go 2 for 3 against the Rays. Best case scenario is they split the New York games and manage a 3-2 homestand.

You're looking at a record of 13-18 in the best of circumstances. That 10-game road trek against the Rangers/Yankees is looking especially nasty.

What the fucking fuck...

I'm laughing my ass off. This has to be some sort of misunderstanding. He should use the classic defense of a baseball player who gets caught stealing: blame the coaches, eh Josh?
