The mets are winning
the battle for last place.

edit: well not so fast, the natinals want the title.

Mets are playing great baseball right now. Hitting that HR after Reyes was called out wrongly on third base was fucking awesome. Charged the team right up. Enjoying watching them rite now. Hopefully it continues for the rest of the season.

Red Sox loss? I ain't even mad.

Also, someone with MLB.TV please get me a clip/.gif of Beckett yelling for the umpire to throw him the fucking ball.

My excitement will remain tempered until they do this against a contender. Bring on the weekend.

(Room for one more, Mets-GAF? I've dipped my toes in for years but might finally be ready to swim.)

all these new met fans will make the mets inevitable decline much more enjoyable. Can't wait!

What happened?
What happened is if I can get a screencap I have my first YEAR OF UMPS article for Windu's blog.
And the countdown to Frankman claiming he recruited you begins...

Where the hell is Frankman anyway?
I didn't recruit that one. And can't a brother play Guild Wars: Factions?

Did I not say the return of the Pale Reaper will bring about sweeping change to the face of the NL East? Look into the face of anger and grim determination:

Not even the crooked umps could stop the Mets tonight.

Congrats to John Adams. Annoying opposing baseball fans for 3000 games (!!).

Imagine all the pain and misery this man has witnessed since the 70's.

Phillies run differential: +24
Braves run differential: +22

Phillies win%: .667
Braves win%: .500

I finished my draft Windu. Want to check it out before I publish it?

MLB-GAF needs to join this thing. All that talk after OT Loose Balls for nothing.
lol good article

Perhaps this start will be the launching pad to a successful season for James McDonald

Edit: lol hockey dwarfed the size of the crowd again. but fuck yeah Penguins are out!

The announced attendance was 9,048 the number of tickets sold but the actual turnstile count appeared much smaller.

I think it's the current lack of other options that will keep him up regardless.

Justin Wilson: first year at AAA level
Rudy Owens: first year at AAA level
Brad Lincoln: garbage so really w/e
Brian Burress: garbage so really w/e
Sean Gallagher: got a 8 era

I think the fact that we used Jeff Karstens to spot start for Ross Oldendolf is also pretty telling how the options are blarg atm. Would love to see Owens up sometime this season.

From David O'Brian at the AJC Sports.
Since David Ross the backup catcher for the Braves, started singing "Shakin" by Eddie Money in the clubhouse, the Braves win every time. He started singing it last Friday in San Francisco and since then the Braves have won each game where Ross sings and shakes in the clubhouse before the game. He didn't sing it on Monday in San Diego and they lost.

The song:

If he keeps singing it, the Cards, Brewers, and Phillies will be shaking as well.
