bottom of the lineup, wow. before i dropped posada (earlier this week... yeah), i had all three of those guys on fantasy.

i blame myself for not watching enough baseball everyday. if i did, i could explain why it's their fault (like "posada is old")

Yes, but on one of the national radio broadcasts some guy called in shitting on Wright and accusing for not taking on the face of the team and hiding behind other players. He is the only guy remaining that speaks fucking English and actually talks to reporters.

I'm not saying anything out of the norm. I know Wagner a few years ago was one of the go to guys. Most of the criticism is pretty valid. I would have to say out of the bunch he is the one guy who wears the Mets name on his sleeve. I just caught it on the way home and made me think a bit.

I got a rainout. Nothing better to do.

Most of the media avoid those same athletes. I mean, we had Manny for godsake. Everything he said was foolish. That image of him shrugging is his best interview.
 
I didn't know the game was actually still going on for the Yankees. How often will you get a loss when Ichiro goes 0-6? How many times has Ichiro gone 0-6?

i like how Fredi kept on trying to put a bunt down in the bottom of the 12th even after a walk and then a 2-0 count to prado though. He loves to give away outs, thankfully Fisher was too wild.

Reading back, I didn't say anything close to a banning. I'm not suggesting players need to speak English, only that Wright was one of few fluent at the time throwing himself into a team clubhouse captain type role. A role I'm not sure that he necessarily wanted or should have. Out of all the Mets criticized he is the most invested in this franchise and I don't think fans throwing him under the bus is very fair.

Jeter is a different case. He is on a high profile team with a token title at this point. Bash him all you want


EDIT: LOL. As a side note, my HTC Thunderbolt suggested "heterosexual" as the correct spelling for Jeter. I wonder what he has stock in.
