Ruben Tejada with the clutch hit! Mets cut the lead to 2! 1st/2nd, 1 out!

Jesus Christ how can you be so bad a bunter Niese? Way to help the offense.

So happy being able to watch the Met broadcast and not having to listen to the insufferable Michael Kay.

Have to leave in a few, you're damned right I'm going to listen to Howie Rose over Sterling and Waldman.

Jon Niese's night changed after that big curve that Swisher banked off his ankle in the 2nd. You could see the Yankees start looking for the curve and kept getting fastball. Then Granderson takes a couple 92 MPH strikes and starts looking fastball, gets the curve.

and of course Nunez gets a double right after I type that.

After a great AB Pagan swung at a bad curve. Nova is barely escaping, Mets are going to get to him at this rate. Key is Niese has to keep doing what he's been doing since the 2nd, holding down the Yanks O.

Outside of Hanrahan, do you guys have a remotely good bullpen? I want to know so I can decide whether I'm disappointed or not when the Nats lose 2-1 in the 11th.

statistically they are decently good, but they seem pretty bipolar.

... See what happens when you throw that curve, Niese? Nothing but good things.

Huge point at this game, still 3-1 and Mets now face Luis Ayala (Nova was coming out anyway IMHO).

So, I hear Jair Jurrjens is throwing a no-hitter. Did any of you hear about the possible no-hitter he's throwing?
No-hitter

No-hitter

I heard this too.

Did you know that his team is up also, and he is in line for a complete game, shut-out, no-hit win?

Aw man, he gave up a single. Fortunately, he's still in line for an impressive complete-game, shutout win!

Gorzelanny with his 8th strikeout.

I have heard something about this no-hitter. A no-hitter occurs when a pitcher retires 27 men without allowing a hit. Not allowing a hit is a key element of throwing a no-hitter. So far Jair Jurrjens has not allowed one, so he currently has a no-hitter.

You are like 10 minutes too late

hit and run with Freeman and uggla results in a caught stealing and a strikeout. Shocking.
