Yeah you got some pretty tough matchups in the Nats, Padres and Marlins.Macattk15 said:God I hate Interleague play.
So unbalanced with the matchups some teams get and then other teams in the same division do not get.
Y2Kev said:Nunez, you are lucky the mets are retarded. Because you are a lazy piece of shit that I hate.
I thought "Cory Wade" (whoever the motherfuck that is) coming out of the game was Nunez, but it wasn't. I was momentarily happy.LJ11 said:Ump was just as lazy.
Fat fucking pig.

Well, he was right to try it. But you can't trust those dumps!LJ11 said:Reyes shouldn't have tried it, but Nunez was lazy as fuck so why not make a run for it. Ump was in no position to make a call, A-Rod blocked his ass the entire way.

.The Frankman said:With 0 or 2 out it's a bad play. With one out it's fine because a sac fly can score you.
Joey Fox said:Now Werth really[/B needs to come through in a big spot.
I want to see a signature hit, even if it is the eighth.
The Frankman said:I don't understand how the ump can be out of position like that. The play is right in front of you, how much of a fatass do you have to be to not move 4 feet to the left?
And of course Beltran walks. Good luck trying to leave the stadium tonight, ump.
If my team benefited from a horrific blown call I couldn't debate I guess my argument would be posting that, too.weekend_warrior said:image

We had a much better chance than that of at least getting a ball in play... but y'know. Nats.Joey Fox said:I had a 1 in 5 chance.
I regret nothing!

I know #6org ain't talking shit. Mets have faced almost all 1st place teams in interleague and have rolled over most of them.Macattk15 said:Who the hell did the Rangers get? I think they got it easier.
Astros twice. Marlins. Mests.
Clutch hitting is not a skillJoey Fox said:Clutch crew is up!

ehhhhhhh... what about the AL Central?LJ11 said:First place in the AL West doesn't count.

There are some studies showing it could mean something like .05-.10 points of OBP for the more extreme clutch players... it's not a hugely significant thing. I suspect getting a good night's sleep or playing in reasonable weather has just as much impact.Joey Fox said:Ask any athlete if it's possible to choke under the pressure.
Some players rise up, I don't care if it's quantifiable. I realize it might just mean those players don't focus properly during "non-clutch" situations.
