nevermind Im seeing things out there ..Sorry
Pena was in, Mr. batting .100 would rather have a pitcher bat.sf2fanatic said:He is red hot but almost cost the game for them at the time...Gardner saved him

Nunez had a tweak never heard of that before. Fuck Jeter is a gold golver because he looks like a defense god compared to his backups I see now.
For the season he's under 7 K/9, so I'd say batters are having decent success at making contact.Macattk15 said:God damn Brandon League's splitter is insane. After a 98 mph fastball. Good luck.

Also, he doesn't bat .100.
Also, fucking goddammit Pena.
Well, the Mets still lost the series, so whatever. The next relevant Yankees game for me is on Wednesday - the return of PHIL PHRANCHISE.
Yeah, it does look like that. Not that his fastball is a bad pitch by any means.Macattk15 said:Good thing you watch all dem Mariner games and realize he doesn't throw it that often for some reason and relies too much on his heat.

Edit: Wow, so much salt even in a win. Relax, dude, I'm not insulting League.
Usually, if a pitcher has a pitch that looks really good every time you see it but doesn't throw it much, you assume it's because the pitch is only effective when the hitter isn't expecting it... but League's history suggests otherwise. It's really weird that he goes that route.Macattk15 said:Sorry. Didn't understand why you brought up his K/9 when I was just speaking to one of his pitches.

Banuelos was getting BABIPed to death, finished 4 2/3 2BB 6H 7Ks..not bad.
I concur. They gotta stop wearing those.rhfb said:Those halos on the Angles caps look terrible. Are they only there this weekend or have they been there all season?
The Angels are wearing some sort of throwback every Friday home game to celebrate their 50th anniversary. I think they wore those 1961 unis a total of five times this year, they are 4-1 with those so they will be back. Fun fact: the Angels got rid of the Halo on top not because it looked horrible but to save money.Dmncnby2k9 said:I concur. They gotta stop wearing those.
This morning in Manhattan, Jose Reyes underwent an MRI at the Hospital for Special Surgery, and the results showed he has a grade one strain to his left hamstring, which is considered a mild strain.
However, after todays 3-2 win, Terry Collins told reporters it was possible Reyes will not play until after the All-Star Game.
That said, Sandy Alderson told reporters said they will see how he responds tomorrow and over the next few days.
Reyes spoke with reporters and said he doesnt feel anything in his leg right now, but he will take this day-by-day and make sure his leg can withstand a full game and hopes to play on Tuesday in Los Angeles.

Pittsburgh is 0-8 this season when having a chance to move three games over the .500 mark for the first time since it was 40-37 on July 1, 1999
