Okay ladies, so I was in the Peins! thread and the data presented said that the average male orgasm lasts 6 seconds and the average female's lasts 23 seconds. My reaction was WTF. Am I missing out on some crazy orgasms (mine seem pretty damn good!) and not even realizing it or does 23 seconds seem a bit extreme?

Personally, I'd never take a cheater back, no matter what.

Actually, guys would enjoy being on the receiving end much more than girls because they have the prostate gland in there.
And trust me, some girls really don't like it as much as regular sex. It's uncomfortable no matter how much lube you use, feels like you're poo'ing. Some women get off on it because it's dirty and taboo. But you can never truly "get off" on just anal alone, you have to have other type of "stimulation" during the act.

Also, I wouldn't do something I didn't like just because my SO loved it. I'm sure he wouldn't want me to do something that I didn't enjoy.

The problem is that a lot of people do it wrong, you can't just go gung-ho even if you have lube, it takes practice. You should start out with your pinky finger (file your nails well ladies) and after lubing or just using spit get it in and let it settle until you get used to it and then move it around and play with it a bit, you also have to relax while doing it. Then as you keep practicing you start moving up to 2 fingers or your thumb, eventually you should try a butt plug.

After you are comfortable with that then you move on to your lovers penis, after lubing relax and let him put it in slowly then let it settle in until you are comfortable, then he can commence thrusting slowly or as you wish. Its generally the filling sensation as it presses against the vaginal wall that girls get off on, so there are plenty of girls that physically enjoy it, not just because its dirty/taboo (can we really say that about anal sex in 2010? Or maybe its just because I'm a freak but I don't see it that way). All of this are general guidelines, you can change it up/go faster/take more time depending on your experiences, everyone is different. And even then it may not be for you, but you have to try in order to find out.

Unfortunately many girls have a bad first experience with it and it totally puts them off on even considering it again. As for not doing something you/him/her enjoy part, obviously there are limits (guy wants to go R. Kelly on you, girl wants to try CBT on me, etc.). But outside of sex we do a lot/put up with activities just because we love you or we want pussy (why hello there romantic comedies) and girls do the same too.

I know all about the prostate gland, shame so many miss out on that

I haven't been here for a while, got busy lately with some family matters. Time for some catching up, expect a few replies soon girls!

She cheated on him? Why is he taking her back? I thinks it's her bf who needs to learn to love himself first!

Pffffff, when I was in school and still around 14, there was this guy that had a GF who cheated on him twice during my time knowing him and still wanted her back. And it's a guy I had an innocent crush on as well! She knew that and she would send her friends to tell me that he didn't like me and hates me, I of course fell for that and cried my heart out. He came to me, gave me a hug and whispered to my ear that it's not true. The next day she came up with a group of 10-20 girls against me, talking crap about me but I was stronger on my own and was holding up. Then...the finale, she went to her BF and kissed him in front of me. Now that made me weak :(

Yeah, it's messed up and it can get far worse than that. Guys and girls can be so blind...

23 seconds? Mine certainly don't last that long either. More like 10-ish seconds.

@Jin34 Oh, I know all about that! Personally it's just not for me. I didn't have a bad experience at all, it didn't hurt it was just uncomfortable. Not my thing.

Cheating at that age? When I was that young, I didn't even know the meaning of sex! :lol I was quite naive and innocent back then!

Yeah, people, especially kids at that age can be quite cruel.

I think they were around my age or a bit older by a year or 2. I myself didn't know the meaning of sex either and just thought that I liked him based on his looks and being nice. Just having a crush on him and thinking that I liked him without knowing the meaning of liking someone or the meaning of love. Anyways, they are Dutch people and this is Holland. Here they are open about sex and at an early age. The children there are not as innocent as you expect them to be.

Okay, time for some older replies :D

I do believe that all men and Allwomen (from every race) are equal, both should be treated with respect not just women (OR men). Does that make me a feminist?

I agree with how you view this in a simple way. Not sure if it means feminism. I can say that I'm very girly, love it when a guy is a gentleman, gives me flower and I cook him some romantic meal. I love the feeling that a guy is considered stronger and protects his girl but if he starts saying the kitchen is where we belong, get hit and more of that crap then you bet I'm one of the worst kind to not put up with this.

Inanna said:
Oh god, what are you waiting for, girl?

Ehm....it's a little more complicated than that. It's just that I'm playing RE5 with my BF and we both happen to have Uncharted 2 as well. So the plan is for us to play Uncharted 2 together at the same time and share the experience. We're waiting for each other when we're fully done with RE5. But I'm really looking forward to playing it! It looks so awesome and I had a blast with the first one. Glad to hear you enjoyed it this much and had a platinum on it. And the online mode sounds pretty cool, we might see each other there someday, who knows?

Oh, Nier sounds great, I might rent it. How long is it?

Nier's length really depends on what kind of person you are from what I have read. I myself am still playing with it and not too far, around 7 and half hours and I'm having a great time. The game has dozens of side quests, you can go fishing, farming (planting seeds, flowers) from what I have played, 4 different endings you get in sequence along with the new game plus. I heard that the game can be finished in 20 hours on your first playthrough but I'm not sure if that's with a rushed job. If you're the kind of person who likes to do everything first time including quests, then it could take you up to 40 or 50 hours. So yes, I think it takes between 20-50 hours depending on how you play it.

It's kind of an action rpg, the action part feeling like a Devil May Cry or Bayonetta lite, the rpg part being leveling up, getting new weapons, make them stronger, learn magic, money buying stuff. It has some Monster Hunter and Zelda elements in it too. What I'm trying to say is, that the game seems to do a lot from different games and it feels like its own game for that and very varied. The graphics are technically very ugly, but if you can look past that, appreciate a game that is unique and a nice written dialogue, then I think you might enjoy it as much as I am at the moment.

I'm currently playing Final Fantasy 13. In fact, I have 22 PS2 games that I've bought over the years that I just never finished.

How far are you into the game dear? Are you enjoying it so far? And I know exactly what you mean when having dozens of games waiting for you but you don't have the time XD I think you're going to enjoy yourself like this, to be forced not buying any new games and focus on what you have. The job will come soon enough and by that time most games will be there for you at a reduced price or on sale. Have fun playing and let us know how it goes!

I don't envy that. I can get away with wearing a t-shirt and jeans everyday and no one will say anything to me, but if a girl does that she'll probably get called out by her peers for being "frumpy."

Heh heh, yeah I mentioned earlier my g/f dresses like that, and quite a number of people have asked me why does she dress like a boy? It's frustrating to try and explain that she is NOT a lesbian, that's just how she is. I live in a very material part of the country too, where I think girls are expected to be all glam and glitter.

Interesting to hear in this thread all this discussion about NIER. The reviews seemed to be kind of negative, but lately western reviewers and my tastes have been diverging at a massive rate. They all seemed to dislike Resonance of Fate, which may be the best RPG I played all generation, so who knows? Do you girls find you are drawn to certain genres more so than others? The girls I dated who were into gaming tended to be big into RPGs and classic/retro/platformer games (which are my genres of choice so it worked out for me :lol )

SFW = Safe for Work. NSFW = Not Safe for Work. NSFL = Not Safe for Life. :lol

I don't know how well this thread would work if it was SFW, As we rarely have threads in OT that are SFW, it'd feel weird to be the only one. That, and we'd probably feel stifled.

Which parts do you need SFW, Zoe? Language or you mean content? We can spoiler them if that'd help?

As for FF13, well it's ...interesting. I'm not as challenged by it as I was by FF12. Which I'm still playing :X Hope is a whiny little heffer that needs to shut up because it
is his mom's fault she died. She should've put him before her fighting in a resistance
. I do like the paradigm shifts because of the colors and the graphics, but on the other hand it's getting a bit tedious switching back and forth sometimes in a battle. I'm not that far into it though (chapter 5. The way this game saves things is weird).

I think I'm going to play Beyond Good and Evil and then go back to FF13. I also need to apply for jobs this summer :X

Content

Most people don't realize, but work filters do pick up on explicit text. Spoiler tags don't help that.

Which is interesting, because that's not an uncommon viewpoint, and it speaks of the fact that we don't seem to want to break down all of the gender roles, just some of them. So how do we as a culture decide which differences/"inequalities" between the sexes are alright, and which aren't?

I mean, if you have a woman who believes that she is equal to a man in every way, and capable of doing anything she wants, but who also enjoys it when men open the door for her and pick up the tab, isn't there something of a contradiction in there?

I like it when he does little things like that for me... but I also like to do them for him. Opening a door for someone, for instance, is something you do because you love them, not because social standards tell you to do it. At least, in my own opinion. But you work out a balance. You open the door for me, I make sure your hair isn't standing straight up in hilarious ways, you pay this night, I pay that night (even if the money is coming from the same place), whatever.

Maybe there are parts we just don't feel? Like contractions deep within?

I'm kinda different. I can be very girly, too. But I also like to do things for him that are only expected of from guys; like give him flowers, get something nice for him on valentines day, open doors for him, make him breakfast in bed. He does all that for me too. He loves to cook for me, clean the house, do dishes and all that. We don't live together though, I don't believe in living together before marriage, and not for religious reasons. I have my own personal reasons.

Ah, I understand, I do that all the time. Love playing games with him. Games become 100x funner with him!! I remember we used to just eff around in LittleBigPlanet, slapping each other round, (he's never slap me though, he's such a typical guy!) but he'd hug my character right as I'm about to make a difficult jump. or drag me into a pit full of fire or spikes. :lol
Oh and totally, you should add me on PSN!

I'm not into RPG's, action RPG's are alright though. I tend to go for games that are between 20 to 40 hours in length, I lose interest in games if they go on for ages.

Actually, it ranges between 5 to 10seconds. Tends to last longer, if I prolong the main "act". It's really not just about the "end" for me, though, it's more about the act itself! But yeah, like you, I have no complaints either! :D

Just watched Community season finale.. I loved the first three quarters of the episode but the last part was such a disappointment.

I'll miss Community, though.

I couldn't record the Community season finale (unless that was last week's episode?) because the power is out in my mom's room and my living room. D8 And I was too busy with GA to think about Community.

I dunno how I'm gonna go on without watching Community every week.. :( It fills the void that Arrested Development left in my heart, ever since it was cancelled by douchebag execs at FOX network.. :p

Next, Lost series finale! :D Sunday can't come soon enough! :D Actually it is, they moved last episode from Tuesday to Sunday, so its airing 2 days earlier. :D I'M SO EXCITED!!! :D :D :D

Have you gals watched Arrested Development?

If you haven't I have a tip for you. Watch Arrested Development.

Then, watch it again. And again.

Awesome.

Oh, girl-GAF, I must swoon, and this seems to be the place. I used my fella's computer last weekend to do my voting/reading on the poetry thread, and since I was talking about it, he decided he should write a poem, too. So this morning I woke up to poetry and a shy boy.

Which I guess means GAF increased the romance in my life, which I guess also makes me a much bigger nerd than I was a few hours ago, but it's happy-making, so I'll accept my increased nerdosity. :lol

I want to see the season finale of 30 Rock and Community. Off to NBC (or Hulu).
