Talented Youngster: 5m
Plays for Millwall: -1m
English: +10m
Liverpool buying: +8m
Grand Total: 22million
Spending 6 years playing in the reserves to sit on the bench while a continental european plays instead: priceless.

Actually, despite all the talk about him being sold around january, apparently he wasn't and the decision would be made after the season ended.Mama Smurf said:You...you already have sold him. Months ago.
bendtner and walcott are still to inexperienced, so i think its importanbt to bring in another striker.hadareud said:yeah, I'm sure he's good and would to well for us. But we have quite a few strikers already (Eduardo, Van Persie, Adebayor, Bendtner, Walcott) so this may be a bit much. We did of course lose 3 strikers and only got in 2 so far, so who knows.
That said, maybe Wenger sees Eduardo as more of a winger, apparently he played on the wing quite a bit in Zagreb and maybe he really wants us to switch to a 4-3-3, then it would make sense to get another striker.
Van Persie ----------------------- Eduardo
------------------- Martins -----------------
wouldn't be too bad I suppose

He's getting close to Tarbio West-like levels of awfulness....hadareud said:edit:
that hair has to change though. This is clearly not good enough.

Of course, he will still probably stay with Boro.
On 26 April 2007, Middlesbrough announced that Woodgate became their first summer signing for a transfer fee of £7 million (10 million). He signed a four year contract keeping him at the club till 2011.
Gunners must stump up for Sagna
Tuesday, 10 July 16:50 BST
Auxerre sporting director Gerard Bourgoin has underlined that Arsenal are yet to table a suitable offer for Bakari Sagna, even if it remains '80 per cent' likely that the full-back will move to North London.
Sagna's agent exclusively revealed to setanta.com earlier on Tuesday that his client had undergone a medical at Arsenal and agreed personal terms on a five-year deal, even if the two clubs are yet to come to an agreement over a suitable fee.
Reports have claimed that a deal for the defender could be completed in a matter of hours, but Bourgoin insists that Sagna remains a Auxerre player at present.
"For the moment, Bakary has only his heart with Arsenal. He is very addicted to that club," Bourgoin told mercato365.
"Our player's position finally influenced us, whereas we didn't want to let him go at the beginning.
"The negotiations have accelerated. Sagna asked us the permission to meet the Londoners' directors. But from our part, we don't agree with Arsenal. For the moment, nothing is done.
"Be aware that our financial conditions haven't been accepted yet by Arsenal. The discussions are very advanced but Arsenal are a big club.
"Like for all big clubs, the files are complicated because of the juridical services added to the contract's clauses.
"Seconds ago, (coach) Jean Fernandez called me. He asked me how many chances we had to keep Bakari Sagna. I told him he only had a 20 per cent chance to count on him in his squad."

ARG-BRA boring? Whaaa? Best national derby in the whole world. May be boring because Brazil has a very poor roster in this Cup.Outdoor Miner said:Would have been nice to see URU or MEX get through to the final, as it is I'm sure the final will be boring as hell.
