Some newsy regarding chelsea's team. Kalou and pizarro are starting up front. Drogba's going to be on the bench. Its quite a weak upfront for chelsea. Kalou isnt a proper striker and he doesnt score many goals, whilst pizarro has still got to prove if he can play in the EPL.

I'm sure Arsenal will score...though I am remembering the West Ham match last season....the question is will they get two? They still have their Walcott and Bendtner cards to play.

The crucial words being "for chelsea". That's still an attack which should tear Birmingham apart.

Not just that, but birminghams defence have also got to cope with Chelsea's wingers and their midfield are going to have a very tough time maintaining possession againt the chelsea midfield. It should be a walk in the park for chelsea, this isnt the game where they need to rely on any of their big players.

Chelsea are playing a genuine 4-4-2...has Mourinho ever done that before? Even the wingers are the sort who will actually go down the wing rather than coming inside. Really looking forward to seeing how it works:

----------------------Cech--------------------

Johnson---Ben Haim---Carvalho----A Cole

Wright-P----Essien-----Lampard---Malouda

-------------Pizarro-------Kalou--------------

On the channel I'm watching the game on, they were talking about Eduardo and one of the guys said "Is this guy the fox in the box for arsenal? Well lets hope he's better than the ox in the box, julio baptista."!

It doesnt look too bad for persie, but I think walcott might replace him if he cant shrug off th injury.

EDIT: he looks fine. I doubt he's going to be coming off. Arsenal need him on if they;re to get atleast one goal.

Why didn't I choose Warner as a keeper for fantasy league, he's having the match of his life :lol As it stands right now, I have two keepers injured in my team, Isaksson and Niemi, and I'm getting no points whatsoever :/

The free kick is too close to the edge of the box. Id be siurprised if they got this one in.....and van persie wasnt very far off at all.

I hate how games overlap each other. I want to watch both arsenal and chelsea play, but Im going to have to miss the last 20 minutes of one game or the first 20 minutes of the other game. I'm going to keep[ watching the arsenal game. Its been really good so far and anything could happen. Chelsea are bound to win their game, its probably going to be a one sided game.

Penalty! Correct decision by the ref. Its a clear obstruction. Bocanegra didnt even try to go for the ball.

What the fuck were the fulham players trying to do after the penalty?

Arsenal are going to throw everyone forward. I can see them scoirng another goal.

thats a pretty ambitious bet for someoen that just started. Well done mama.

haha, no, that would be good but the first two refer to my fantasy team. I just bet Arsenal would beat Fulham.

I survived 4 heart attacks and a stroke this morning. Going to church to thank God for that win.

Hleb!

I'm am so fucking happy the season is back.

getting up at 4 in the morning to see Arsenal win the game in the last 7 minutes... wow.

Bendtner looked great. He wins balls and isn't afraid to shoot. I even liked Walcott on the wing. He's fast as sh**. Just needs to get his shots down a bit.

Hleb is going to live up to his 10 goals/season wishes. He looks 10x better than last season. MOTM for Arsenal I think.

:lol oh well, atleast both betting and fantasy football are going well.

I've got persie and cesc in my fantasy league team, so its going quite well. If only I made one of them or ronaldo my captain. Instead i forgot to change it and it stayed as Howard. It should still be a decent week though.

yeah I agree, malouda's doing really well.

What a fucking good goal by Birmingham. 2-2 now. That was completely unexpected. Johnson got beat way too easily, he should have done better, but credit to kapo, it was an incredible strike.

After that showing Fulham really deserved at least the point... but that's how it goes.
Glad I got up early for that though :D

EDIT: Those of you calling Fulham to go down, are you standing behind that after that?

Every team gets up for the first match. You just have to see what Birmingham is doing to Chelsea right now.

EDIT: By the way, I think Fulham will stay up... in 17th. Wigan, Derby, and Birmingham are going down for me.
