Looks awesome, graphically, bit worried that 90% of that trailer was in vehicles. It looks fun, but I'm hoping it's just to show off the new features and platforming still plays a big part. Otherwise why use Banjo at all, it'd be like Bungie wanting to make a God-sim and deciding that's what Halo games will be like from now on. Just create a new property.

The idea of the vehicles came before it was a Banjo game. The whole core idea of the player building vehicles from components was from the very start and it wasn't very long before we thought this'd make a good Banjo game.

What we wanted to do was cut back on Banjo and Kazooie's teamwork moves, because for every move the characters had, it took away one of the reasons for people to build something. But we're going to play on it - that Kazooie's not happy at all about her moves being taken and will complain at every opportunity. But at least now she's got a wrench.

I haven't played any Banjo games before, but this one looks like fun to me. So the first two were standard platforming games? Jump around and collect powerups?

I think it looks great too, but I still want a Banjo platformer based around Banjo and Kazooie combo moves, which is the essence of the game. Why not just take Link's weapons away in the next Zelda?

Or at least bring out a Conker platformer. Just...stop fucking with platformers! I want to jump around a playground environment.

I'm not sure what to think about the vehicles yet either Mama, it all depends how they control. If the controls and the camera are good I can't complain. I still hope there will be standard platforming too in this one.

The building stuff looks like great fun though, I could see myself getting lost in that. I loved Lego as a child, this reminds me of it.

Oh, and there definitely needs to be another Conker - couldn't agree more. And that one should be back to the basics.

edit: download the oxm video from Gamersyde, shows off a bit more of the gameplay and some of the platforming. It's really looking great I think.

The game looks brilliant in terms of graphics, but I'm not sure how I feel about what i saw. It looks...different. From that trailer, it looks like banjo kazooie mixed with wacky races. It really depends on just how much you have to use the vehicle's.

definitely download the video off Gamersyde. Once you've seen that it all makes a lot more sense. The trailer is just too quick, you can't really see what it's all about.

There are a lot of trailers, but from what I've seen of the gameplay it looks like its going to be a lot of fun to play. It certainly looks like the best MGS game in terms of gameplay and story.

MGS is definitely not my kind of game. Got MGS2 for £2.50 about a year ago, but I only played it twice and got bored.

Banjo-Kazooie on the N64 was awesome, but I'm not sure I like the new direction they're taking with this one. That said, I did enjoy the Jak series and Ratchet and Clank, so I'm still hopeful, but I'd rather a Nintendo style platformer than a "platformer" in the modern sense of the word.

There are a lot of trailers, but from what I've seen of the gameplay it looks like its going to be a lot of fun to play. It certainly looks like the best MGS game in terms of gameplay and story.

I never did like the gameplay in MGS. I'm a little impatient when it comes to stealth some times and let's face it, the shooting mechanics have always been far from ideal. I've always played it for the over-the-top story, the characters and the presentation. That's the reason why I completed MGS1, MGS2 and MGS3. And believe me, I don't complete games that often.

They still need to add some weight to the attack animations or something. The game just looks weird and disjointed. It's like the characters are not hitting anything when they're attacking.

I really want to like Too Human, but I'm pretty skeptical about it. Co-op button-mashing dungeon crawler sounds great on paper, but I'm not sure if it's going to deliver.

Not impressed by Banjo Kazooie, the aesthetic is pretty nasty and the levels looks a bit barren for running around in, even if they are right for driving around.

Fuck Too Human, they took an awesome idea from way back in the PSX days and completely changed it into the type of game we get plenty of already.

If the MGO Beta is anything to go by save a few minor changes SP is going to haul ass in that department, the battle mechanics are more built for battle this time apart from taking cover and firing (reflecting on that it might be more forgiving in SP, but definitely not MP), most notably you don't have to be in a standing position to move, you can squat and walk (which was a major gimp in the past when you was in enemy fire).

I hope they revert the new game + back to MGS2, I was semi pissed that if I started the game again it had to be on the same difficulty wth!?

There's some good info in this thread. The way I checked was to take a look at the power supply and make sure it's 175W. That should do it.

Make sure you get the ones with the DVD drives that are less noisy. That thing is a jet engine when I'm playing at night with the volume down and it annoys the shit out of me. I fucking hate it.

Yup. There's an optical output on all 360's. That's what I use.
