I don't like his rapping style, so I'm willing to look into Ras Kass.

I'm actually watching semi-pro right now waiting for 10:00 to roll around, just because of three stacks. He's a good actor.

Ah...Spurs/Lakers once again. Been a few years. Always loved this matchup.

I hear ya about the Sony sluts Kara. As a long suffering Sega fan who's still trying to figure out how the DC failed (great games sell a system my fucking balls), it's given me great pleasure to see the frontrunning, glory huntin' Sony cattle eat giant slabs of humble pie the last few years. For all the pre-release hype PS3 received (bullshit E3 '05 demos that apparantely meant 360 was toast, 120fps, Cell = super computer, Blu Ray capacity = five disc 360 games within a year, every third party game in the universe would be a PS3 exclusive, and it'd STILL cost just 300 bucks!), it's been a joke of a game's machine so far, with more SKU's then worthy exclusives (a $40 demo is currently it's biggest exclusive...chew on that for a while), a laughable answer to Nintendo's Wii controller that's already been made out of date (BU-BUT RUMBLE = LAST GEN!!!11), and now a console that can't even run GTA4 in high def. It's just a chuckle fest to me. I won't even get into PSP's embarassing humilation at the hands of the DS, which should've clued people into PS3's prospects early on.

Truth is most of these people have known nothing but a world where Sony has been on top, never questioned, always pandered to, with almost unwavering support from every third party on the planet. And now that Nintendo has completely crushed that little bubble of theirs and made it their own again, and 360 showing no real signs of going away (at least in North America), the Sony sluts have no idea how to deal with it.

That's the beauty of being a Sega fan...with the exception of a couple of years, we were never the top dog. But I was still able to sleep easy. Guess that's how you view your support for City. :lol

Anyway, such a rant on the gaming side would get me banned till FF13's release in 2010, so it's nice to tuck it into this fortress of solitude.

On a more upbeat note, I absolutely love the Euro '08 demo. If FIFA '09 can play anything like that, Konami might just lose me for good.

No it won't PES is dead to me now, Seabass can fuck right off. He's like Peter Molyneux promising the earth but never delivering but at least Molyneux hasn't made the same fucking game every year.

No.

Seabass has been crapping on PES 08 before it was released, he even talked about moving his development team to England to sort out the Japaneese development issue. He's also said that PES next gen won't be at his satisfactory level till 2009.

The worst part about it is that it's institutionalized because of the moderating team. (I STILL can't believe a certain addition. Is it really that hard to get your hands on NPD data?)

:lol I'm a Sega veteran myself. I lost with them in the great 16 bit wars (don't pay attention to the retcon bullshit spewn in the 16 bit console war threads, Genesis lost). After the Saturn debacle you could say I became disillusioned with the whole company fanaticism and evolved into my current state of equal-opportunity hater. Dreamcast was still one of the most amazing systems ever though (in library, I hated the actual hardware quite a bit).

When Dreamcast re-launches on 9/9/09 and takes over the world you'd better believe I'll enlist again with you. I yearn for the day when I can dance on the corpses of Nintendo and Sony. (Microsoft is OK since Xblob 180 was essentially Dreamcast 2.0 with World War II and space marine shooters.) Sieg Zeon, I mean Sega!

Oh, my Sega 3D googles goes all the way back to 1986. The first time I saw and played the Afterburner II cabinet at Hamleys in London England, and moreover the first time I saw and played OutRun at Thorpe Park. From that moment on I was Sega 4 life. Nintendo was nothing but a rumour in England at that time, so you can imagine my surprise when I came over here and saw Nintendo everywhere, while the Master System was comparable to HD-DVD. :lol

Needless to say Sega's glory days are long since gone, but for twenty years there wasn't a better developer on planet earth (fuck Nintendo really). And yeah, better believe I'll be in line for DC2's glorious emergence
in my dreams anyway
.

They should have given the WC to Egypt if they really wanted to give it to a stable African country. I fucking hate the country (fuck you Mubarak AND Saddat), but at least I would go down there to watch some of the matches and we wouldn't have these problems.

Jeez I have backed some real losers along the way!

:lol I had the C64 (amazing) and Amiga (beyond amazing) myself. C64 at least had a long, propserous reign in the UK and Europe. Amiga did very well in Europe too. Alas I had the misfortune of owning it over here, which effectively meant another HD-DVD level machine was in my home.

Does anyone of you have the HD-DVD addon to the 360? I bought one for 10€ just for the remote that is included, but I haven't taken it out from the post office yet (have been sitting there 10 days now).

This is becoming a common theme.

:lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol

I used to have one. It sucked so I sold it when it was still worth something. Fair-Weather with pride!

Yeah, well the remote is expensive you know:)

Costs like 35-40 euro if you want to buy it separate.

Q: What do you know about Hugo Lloris? He's a 21 year old keeper playing for Nice, any good? Seems like we've signed him now.

You cannot know too much about a keeper when he is that young. You can only judge his reflexes, because you don't learn by heart the positioning and reactions until you've done it every day for 15 or 20 years.

Lloris, according to this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mBGezxHGsEQ has the reflexes to make it as a top keeper, shakes like a scared rabbit, and has a fashion sense in league with Thierry Henry. How much did you get him for?

:) We'll probably some official news in couple of days.

Is it really true that you are both getting Ben Arfa AND Nasri? Dammit I really wanted one of them. How else can we become the BRA-ITA-FRA dreamteam:( Oh well, we should get Mexes and Benzema instead.

I hope so. Benzema wants to go to Spain or Italy because he's scared of England's anti-racism and full stadiums. I want all four of the big 4 upcoming french attackers to be with Clichy and Sagna to form the big 6 of frenchawesome

I bought one when they came out. It worked pretty well for about 6 months, then it crapped out and I never bothered to fix it because I was lazy/cheap. Nice of Amazon to give me a $50 credit a few years after the fact because HD-DVD is a dead format, though.

I remember roidy being a sony guy back when i used to postgaming. But yeah, i've had a psx and ps2 and will be buying a ps3 eventually. But I'm not willing to pay that much for a blu-ray player.

Happened last gen! All I need is a god damn j-o-b or a sugar momma and MGS4 will be mine.

I hate it when someone starts a lobby, then pisses off for 5 minutes.

We coulda had a mod free console warz in this thread but you just had to bail out didn't you? Is this what relationshhps mean to you? :'(

Oh god I hate this time of year, it's the time of year where when there's no football I start going crazy and take an interest into anything considered a sport.

Like I watched 1/2 an hour of cricket yesterday, and last weekend I tried to watch the superleague rugby which was cancelled last week because of a technical fault.

And I keep flicking over to the BBC expecting a Golf, Snooker or Darts tournament to start soon. :(
