And I keep flicking over to the BBC expecting a Golf, Snooker or Darts tournament to start soon. :(

I'm going to vegas this summer for darts. Gonna be so awesome!

I turns out that I am going to miss the CL-final:( Promised a friend to go to a party with him, which will probably suck anyway.

sucks =(

I'm looking forward to the final. Gonna watch it with some nice girl :)

Nah, I'll go and see how shitty it really is. Who is so stupid to plan a party when they know there is a CL-final?

Bla: Is she a football-fan? Because if she isn't, that match wont change her.

Yay a right back. :/

But... now comes the best, Euro 2008 :D

Oh yeah the solace of England representing our country and... wait.

Might have to support Spain or Netherlands to fill the England shaped dissapointment of getting knocked out in the semi's.

Icecold. I'm thinking about Spain as my second. I'd make mad passionate love to three(OH WAIT ONLY TWO SOMEBODY HAD TO GO TO BED EARLY) of the players and they'll make it out of their group unlike France.

Cesc, Bojan and........Puyol/Iniesta?

just ordered two shirts:

AustriaASS0708-1.jpg

HolHSS0809.jpg

the Austrian mainly for the Hammer and Sickle in our crest

Sweden and Italia here:)

I am gonna show my hate against Germany, France (Domenech mostly), C.Ronaldo/Portugal and Spain. There isn't really any real country that I can show my true hatred this time though, both the Danes and England are sitting home and watching the tournament, just like us.

Sigh, Degen.... We all know what happened last time we signed a player on free transfer (see Voronin), and I don't think this will help our squad any bit, just another "filler" in the squad. I love to eat crow, though, and that he'll prove me wrong in the end.

So about that Miguel Veloso. What do you think about him?

Part of me would like to see him play at Arsenal, part of me says we need him, and if we want to have a decent team next season we need to stop with the "SOLD!" shit.

I haven't seen him enough to really judge him to be quite honest.

By all accounts he's a more than decent player and if Wenger really wants him he must be, so if the price is right I'd definitely want him. 24 million pounds is far too much for a defensive midfielder though, I can't see us buying him if the price is true.

That's just his release clause. I bet Sporting Sad would sell him for 15/20m euros if Arsenal hits the table with the cash.

Unfortunately, sporting doesn't have a bunch of corrupt cunts running the club like others over here, so deals with the state that allow deals with the banks, don't come so easy, so we need to sell players in order to make money.

We actually had to pay for our stadium. Well at least it's getting name as a good player farm, we are the biggest exporters of national talent :lol

Not good enough, missing a great right winger to have a chance to win the league. Move Kuyt up front and buy the new winger for 8 million instead.

It's a sad state of affairs isn't it? We have no money to spend at all. The Yanks haven't given us any money, so we have to sell to buy and only use the money made from player sales.

Arsenal keen on Marseille's Nasri
By Saj Chowdhury

Arsenal have been in contact with Marseille midfielder Samir Nasri with a view to signing the France international, BBC Sport understands.

The 20-year-old is believed to have a £13.5m buy-out clause in his contract, but it is not known whether Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has agreed a fee.

Nasri, who said he may have played his final game for the club, is renowned for his pace and dribbling skills.

He was named in France's provisional 30-man squad for Euro 2008 on Sunday.

Nasri joined Marseille as a nine-year-old and made his league debut during the 2004-2005 season.

Last season, Nasri, who can play on either wing, won the French first division's young player of the year crown and was voted Marseille's player of the year by fans.

This campaign he scored six goals in 30 games for the French outfit with the final strike in his tally coming in the 4-3 win over Strasbourg last weekend that helped secure Marseille's berth in next season's Champions League

Nasri had appeared at various youth international levels for France before winning the first of seven senior caps in 2007.

it's made the BBC which means that the stories are most likely true. "BBC Sport understands" is usually a sure sign of things being true.

good stuff.

He is a fantastic player. I hate you.

I think the battle for 4th will be between Liverpool, Tottenham, Aston Villa, Everton, Portsmouth and possibly Newcastle if they spend well next season. I actually think Tottenham will overtake us, just look at their signings: Modric and possibly Eto'o.

so the french invasion of Arsenal continues, eh, well it was to be expected as long as Wenger continues to coach your side.

You act like this is anything less than fantastic.

Cool down lakitu, stroke your cat or just take a walk. The season hasn't started yet and you're acting like you lost a child. We will finish in the top 2, but not win it.

Eto'o won't go to Spurs, he doesn't want to.

we only got 5 left, which is basically nothing compared to the past. Traore will likely go on loan next season which means there will only be 4,

We need to stock up on French players again.

Barton sent to prison for 6 months. lol.

Knowing our legal system he will be out by July and playing our first game of the season.

Jesus Christ T2 is such an atrociously acted movie. Every time that fucking kid is on screen I want to kill him myself. Man do I hate children.

I was just reading about this 15 year old French player (Jeremy Helan) who will go to Manyoo instead of Arsenal because they offered him "a better career plan". That got me thinking: how many of the teenagers Manyoo buy actually make it through to the first team compared to Arsenal? And by first team I don't mean on once or twice as a substitute.

Manyoo

Brown
Neville
Giggs
Scholes
Fletcher

4 of the 5 came through in the early ninetees.

Arsenal

Clichy
Senderos
Djourou
Fabregas
Bendtner
Denilson
Song
Traore
Hoyte
Walcott

with 3 or 4 more to follow next season.

yeah, must have been the better "career plan"

fixed :D Honestly Arsenal wins without you always having to stack in their favor (although Ferguson did win a Premiership with kids that one time.)

I thought Man Utd were in for him? Anyway, he can play midfield, left back as well as central defence so he'll definitely fill in the Flamini sized hole.

there's a reason why I left most of them out.

You can of course include Ronaldo, Pique, Nani and Anderson - that would be fair.

But for the others:

O'Shea - Forgot about him because he's so shit.
Foster - hasn't made it yet. He got one start because everyone else was injured and banned and Kuszczak is preferred. Kuszczak is not a Manyoo youth player.
Jonny Evans - nah. Hasn't even played a league game for Manyoo yet.
Eagles (well if you've got Traore on there) - I guess. But will he still be there next year and will he play many more games? Doubtful.
