Good news that the T&T players will finally get paid. Warner is such a twat.Trinidad players to get disputed payment
PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad (AP)A London arbitrator ruled that a group of soccer players from Trinidad and Tobago is entitled to profits from the teams 2006 World Cup appearance.
Soccer player Kelvin Jack said he and 15 other players had filed a complaint against the Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation seeking at least 50 percent of net profits earned.
The government has declined to release that figure. Government officials said the federation received $28 million in gross profits. Federation spokesman Shaun Fuentes declined to comment.
The complaint originally was registered in Trinidad and Tobago, but moved to Englandwhere many of the players play their club soccerafter both sides agreed to arbitration and was decided by Ian Mill.
Jack was one of four players who testified during last months hearings. He told The Associated Press on Thursday that he considered the ruling a victory.
He said a judge will decide in June how much each player will receive.
Jack Warner, FIFA vice president, told a local TV station that the federation will pursue justice if it disagrees with the final ruling.
At the end of the day there are no winners, there will be only losers, he told Trinidad news station CNC 3.
Warner also said he thought the quarrel would not affect the countrys drive to qualify for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

How's the team looking? I hear Hill and Shea are playing well. I forgot to set my TiVo before I left for work this morning.Osorio said:The US is coming so close to equalizing this.
Great Caesar's Ghost... WTF.Mama Smurf said:I probably won't be able to comment on matches that much either, except during holidays of course, pretty sure they'll be blocking things like sopcast as they do torrents. My friend's uni (that girl I was telling you about) won't even show swearing...I mean, these people are over 18, it's draconian. And I'm not gonna get myself thrown out for watching illegal streams even if they don't block them, they might find out anyway and it's just not worth it.
They played with heart, the first half wasn't so good but they almost came back in the second.Cornballer said:How's the team looking? I hear Hill and Shea are playing well. I forgot to set my TiVo before I left for work this morning.
Mama Smurf said:This is probably my last year up there. I can only post this much because I work from home, most of which is answering emails when they come in. It leaves me a hell of a lot of free time, but I still have to be here when emails come in, during the day at least, so sitting at the PC all day...what else to do? There's only so much time you can spend jacking off.
I'll take it. It's our C-team in any case, but that's also Turkey's U21 team.Osorio said:They played with heart, the first half wasn't so good but they almost came back in the second.
I really have come to believe that no person in the history of space and time actually has access to ESPN360. It's a myth they perpetuate to make people think they're a really cool company when in fact they employ the biggest collection of hacks I have ever seen in sports journalism.Cornballer said:Arg, ESPN360 not active here at work.
Karakand said:Great Caesar's Ghost... WTF.
Torrents are pretty much the only thing campuses here uniformly block. I lucked out though, my university is one of the original internet backbones so they're very liberal with spending money on their internet infrastructure. The one year I lived on campus they basically said we could do anything we wanted, but we were fucked if we torrented copyrighted material. (I of course did not heed their warnings because I have problems with authority. Fuck the man!)
P.S. We will miss you.![]()

I've watched every CL game this year at work using it....it works damn good... today I am staying home however.Karakand said:I really have come to believe that no person in the history of space and time actually has access to ESPN360. You support a racist football club and my other love's geographic (and thus principal since they suck) rival though so I find this very hard to believe, especially in the context that believing it would completely erode the elaborately constructed conspiracy I have concocted in my warped mind.Ryck said:I've watched every CL game this year at work using it....it works damn good... today I am staying home however.

I salute you, good sir, while stealing bandwidth from Clint Dempsey's website.
Arg, ESPN360 not active here at work. Not sure if I'll follow the game online or what. I don't know if I should go through the trouble of setting up streaming software here at work.
I'll take it. It's our C-team in any case, but that's also Turkey's U21 team.As long as Nowak finds a couple useful players for the Olympic Roster, it's fine by me.

My post count is going to do down too. I'm off to uni so I'll be busy doing uni stuff, well all the uni stuff minus most lectures, most essays and more of getting drunk and making most of living by myself with no one watching me! I'll try to do the minimum I can without getting kicked out.Mama Smurf said:This is probably my last year up there. Come September/October time I'll be at uni and the workload first year is actually quite intense. Without this job and with lectures and essays and socialising and things, I expect my post count to at least halve. I probably won't be able to comment on matches that much either, except during holidays of course, pretty sure they'll be blocking things like sopcast as they do torrents. Rumours, probably crap: Kalou ahead of Malouda, Ballack dropped.
It would be a mistake not putting rooney and tevez upfront imo.Mama Smurf said:Just a feeling. I reckon they'll outmuscle you in central midfield and win it from there.
I'm sure Park will play btw, going back to your lineup. Van der Sar, Brown, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Carrick, Scholes, Park, Ronaldo, Rooney...and I dunno about the last. Could be Tevez, could be Giggs, could be Hargreaves, could even be Fletcher or Nani though I doubt it.

Sarcasm...mozfan12 said:Chivas de Gualajara are not racist, its actually in the constitution of the team for them to only accept Mexican or Mexican American players because they believe in Mexican bred talent unlike that majority of teams in Mexico at the present. To call them racist would be far fetched as it is a tradition that had intentions to develop Mexican players instead of buying expensive foreigners like America, and Im not a fan of the team. This is the same thing that happens in other parts of the world such as Atletico Bilboa in the Basque region of Spain.
